Does anyone have worldmark timeshare?

If so which resorts have you been to? Which are your favorites and least favorite? Got invited to go again

Btw - posting here for budget tips too incase we need to fly , rent a car , transportation, food and things to do

We bought our resale from a reseller and saved about 80% vs buying from worldmark. We mostly use it for a night here or there.

We love the One in Solvang,Ca,we stayed at the one near Disneyland and it was nice. Just to far to walk. For my partner and I worldmark is great to have for the two above mentioned resorts, we have stayed at Angel's Camp and a few other I have found them to be clean and they all have their own charm to each location.

A few times we have been on long road trips and used our Worldmark in between staying at regular hotels is, with a full kitchen and laundry in the room. I will do our laundry and make cookies or brownies and other snacks for on the road. It is a big money saver.

We love our Disney Vacation club more, but we are at Disney with DVC so who would not love it.

I would have to say if I was going to compare the two DVC is worth buying from Disney.

Worldmark I would only buy on the resale market. It is just not worth what they charge for it.

We were invited on vacation with dh/ family. We got to stay in San Diego for a week and it was nice. We got invited to go on vacation again for another week so we are looking forward to it

The Family Dh want to go to Cabo and his wife wants cold weather so we'll see where we end up-lol!
Have you stayed at any of the out of sate resorts?

As far as Disney DVC we don't go to Disney all that much. We've been to Disneyland several times throughout the years and we've done WDW once. I want to start seeing the world if I can

I told dh it would be nice to buy into a time share but he said his friend bought one (worldmark) and it was like $18,000 @ a high % . Is that how much those start out as or did you get a better deal?

How many days do you recommend for Solvang? Solvang is on my list of things to do

My aunt owns WM. She let us use her points for our west coast trip last September. We stayed in Oceanside, CA. It was really nice 3 bedroom condo with a murphy bed. Then we went to stay at the Dolphin in Anaheim. It was also a 3 bedroom condo. Not nearly as new, but it was okay. We were fairly happy with it. We were able to walk to DL, it's a little ways away, but manageable. They don't have a lot of options throughout the U.S. but they recently acquired a new property in Orlando that looks much better than the first option. We are thinking of buying WM re sale also. My Aunt does like her stays and options a lot. However, she's not pleased with their pushy sales approach. She's bought 2 contracts and they still try to push her into buying more.
