Does anyone have pictures of your Dessert Parties?

I would LOVE to see pictures of your dessert parties to get some ideas.
Especially the ones done at UK... or any small parties.
But really I love to look at all your DP pictures...

Wow...those desserts look amazing! If you don't mind my asking, which dessert package did you choose? I don't remember seeing chocolate covered strawberries on the list... Thanks for sharing!

If I remember correctly it was called Child's Play or Child at Heart? We added the chocolate covered strawberries. I originally wanted the tuxedo strawberries added but due to cost we went with the basic chocolate covered strawberries. To this day that is one of the things the guests talk about most. They were so yummy!

You are welcome! I had my DP videotaped and after seeing the video I really don't think it was nessecary. Most of the footage was the back of our heads watching Illuminations. The photographs I love...especially the firework shots.

FYI: We had 35 people and there was plenty of room

Did anyone notice that people werent hungry come the dessert party?
I'm worried only because our receptation is at ADH right before 3 1/2 then going right there. We are having cake at the ADH as well.

I'm going to not have any desserts at our reception i think and maybe see if we can have the cake at epcot, we have alot of people who loves desserts so I'm sure they will get eaten, I am going to make sure i have at least one of everything!!!!!

Thanks to all for the great pictures. We were just down in WDW last week and had a site visit. We have decided to use UK Lower for our desert party next November and these photos really give us a good example of what it will look like. We watched IllumiNations this past Saturday from this location and the view was perfect.

As far as people being hungry, we will be having a brunch reception at ADH from 11:00 to 3:00 so hopefully people will come to the desert party ready to eat.

i asked already about having the cake at the dessert party. I see your wedding is about the same time as mine. My WC told me that they wont allow it at the dessert party because of how hot it can be and the cake will melt.

They said sometime they allow dec jan fed weddings depends on how the weather has been in the prior few weeks

yes we land the day you get married!!! I may pop to epcot that night to say hi!!! We get married on 2nd sept.

I'm going to get everyone to eat loads so nothing is wasted!!! i will eat loads i'm sure as i'm more of a dessert person than main meal. When i go out the dessert menu is the first think i look at!!

I'm planning to only serve the wedding cake for dessert at my reception because I don't want everyone to be too full for the dessert party. It would be ashame to see all those delicious desserts go to waste because everyone was stuffed from dinner...

OUr reception was at ADH and we went directly from there to the dessert party. We also had a cake at the ADH. Of course people were not hungary but did that stop anyone from eating once the saw the spread? NO! It was devoured. We did have left overs so we had Zip locks and passed them out so people could take stuff back to thier rooms.
