Does anyone have pictures of the route to ME with a wheelchair?

I'm not good with verbal instructions; I do much better with visuals.

I'm especially interested in the elevator that's suppose to get a wheelchair from one floor to the other to get to ME.

Also, pictures where you need to take turns going left or right to get to ME after your off the tram.

I'm flying Airtran if that matters.

I know I'm asking a lot, but we are traveling in the evening and I doubt there will be anybody around to ask. We will be taking a long restroom break when we get off the plane; so, I know I can't even follow our fellow paasengers who may be going to ME, as well. Besides, they would probably be going faster than I can go.

I'm good with landmarks like go past this store to the left and so forth. I do better that way.

Thanks in advance.

Click on this link...it will give you a layout of MCO. You will arrive on Side A, in the top right hand area of the diagram. Take the tram from the gate. When you get off the tram, and head past security, you are going to want to head to the left...towards Side B....look up and you will see a nice, bright neon Side B above you...head there. You will come to stairs/escalator. Go past them....there will be an elevator there. Take the elevator down to level 1 (you arrived on level 3), when you get off the elevator, you should see rental car counters to the left...head in that direction. The outside driveway, with buses and shuttles will be on the left, car rental counters on your right as you walk down this area. You will get to the DME area at the very end.

There are lots of people to ask. You can always ask someone who works for TSA to point you in the right direction

There is always someone to ask 24/7/365, but the instructions you were given were excellent. BTW, all the restrooms accomodate wheelchairs, they are at the end of the stalls in each restroom.

Here’s a different map that shows the path.
OIA_Map.pdf

The maps shows Airtran on the B side in gates 60-99, but they are combining with Southwest and I read that they are now using the Southwest gates (100-129).

There is also an “arrival page” on the Orlando airport website with some pictures.

Everything is well signed and you will not have any trouble finding signs (and people) to point you in the right direction.

From personal experience, you may want to consider waiting to use the restroom until you get to the DME area.
The restrooms by the gates tend to be quite busy because of people using them right before boarding and lots of people make a beeline there after the plane lands. There are restrooms along the way after riding the tram that takes you from the gate buildings to the terminal. There is also a Companion Restroom just as you pass all the counters for DME.

You are always so helpful.

The map here I can print the diagram; the wording will not print. I've tried this a few ways. I tried highlighting everything and then I can get the printing, but no diagram. It's strange.

I'm glad you told me about the companion restroom. I'll see how it goes with mom. I have no intentions of doing a restroom break with her on the plane; so, I'll just have to see how it goes when we get off. I feel concerned it may take me too long to get to ME; so, I may have to fight the crowds and use the first one we see. My mom may panic if I wait, too. I'm not going to have her drink too much on the flight. She will be plenty hydrated before we get on the plane.

It might work better if you go right to the original page. Here’s a link:
