Does anyone have Larry Hope as a guide.

MS was able to get me online to the DVC member site. From my email they sent me a seed guide. Has anyone ever had him and will I ever have a need for him besides the add on we will do? TIA

Larry is our guide. He has been very helpful when we've needed him, and he's stayed out of our way when we haven't. He's never tried to sell us anything, and just sent me what I asked for when I made it clear that I knew the DVC facts pretty well upon purchase. Nice guy.

We had our SSR tour with him last June. Nice man and not pushy. He does read these boards. We still haven't bought in though. Someday

Larry is our guide as well. JulieWent's impression of him is much the way I see him. He's always pleasant and low key - even when half way through 4 add-ons of 150 points I advised him to make it 5 add-ons of 125 points instead.

Larry worked very hard for us when we tried to get DVC to allow us to break up a large resale contract into several smaller contracts. They wouldn't do it but he stayed on them for about a month for us. In 2001 he was instrumental in getting DVC to establish their current program of resales of sold out resorts directly from DVC. I like him.

We just joined and Larry Hope was our guide as well. We have nothing but positive things to say about him. We actually did the tour about a year ago and like everyone said he is a no pressure guy. We actually called again to inquire about some things about a month ago and were told about the friends and family program and that sealed the deal for us. We called Larry so many times with tons of questions and he was very patient, and thorough in and answering every single question that we had. If you have any questions he will get back to you right away, and if not he won't call and bother you. Our friends had him when they bought about 10 years ago and that is how we were referred to him.
