Just curious...I have a relative who had a child in January and December of the same year, and they are 11 months apart. I don't hear much of this happening anymore (they are adults now).

a good friend and co worker had this occur. Her kids are in second and third grade. Thankfully they had birthdates to put them in different classes.
the term she uses is "Irish twins"....:hyper:

mine are 11 months apart just September 98 and August 99

we get "Irish Twins" a lot too.

a neighbor of mine had that situation -- the older boy was born in january and the younger boy in december. although technically she could ahve registered them for school at the same time, she held the younger boy back a year.

a guy in my office has two girls. they look like twins but they're actually 11 months apart. when I met them at the Christmas party they were both 7 years old.

Almost but not quite...mine are 13months....whew!!!

I have cousins like this. One born in Jan, the other in Dec of the same year.

A friend of mine had her last 2 13months apart. They are 6 & 7 now.

Not in the same year, but our neighbors behind us have a boy and a girl 11 1/2 months apart. Their DD just turned 3 and their DS will turn 4 next week. :)

Has 2 kids that are 10 months apart! The first one in Jan. the second in Nov. The one in Nov. was a preemie, she was due in Jan the following year.:o

My sister's colleague struggled with infertility for years and years.

Finally, they got pregnant. Had a boy. Was breastfeeding.

Got pregnant again when baby was about 6 weeks old. :earseek:

The boys are 10 1/2 months apart.

My sister and I are 10 months apart! She was born in July and I was born in May. What were my parents thinking????
::yes:: ::yes:: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Mine are 11 months apart, January 18th and December 28, 1990, and most people don't even know they're brothers, as they don't look anything alike!

They are a grade apart, as the registration cut off here was September.

Here they are Easter 1992:

Here are their school photos from September 2003:

My sister and I are 11 months apart, we actually are the same age for a month and a half! Boy was that a mess when we were kids:

How old are you? 10

And how old is your sister? 10

You're Twins!

No....

FOR YEARS we dealt with that! My Mom likes to laugh about the fact that my Dad's age was the same on BOTH of our birth certificates because his birthday fell between ours! He had turned 36 right before my sister was born and was STILL 36 when I was born! :teeth:

my sister and I are 13 months apart. She is October (late October of one year), and I am late November of the next year.

We got twins comments a lot up to high school.

Thanks! But they are growing too fast!

Yes I have cousins that are eleven months apart, they were born Jan. Dec. also

Wow. Here I am thinking how hard it must be to take care of a baby alone...and then suddenly, you have ANOTHER baby on top of that one to take care of!!

Aren't you supposed to...ahem....wait about a month or so before you get back to baby making? ;)

Oh we waited alright! But we didn't take any precautions because I was an infertility patient for many years. We figured it would take another 3 years to concieve again.

Ha ha....the joke was on us!::yes::

We had two cribs, two high-chairs, a double stroller, etc. It was almost like having twins! And you'd think having them so close together that they'd get along, which they did up until they were 8 and 9 years old. Now they fight constantly at ages 13 and 14! They only time they get along is when we are at Disney World!
