Does anyone have any pics or reviews of Alfredos?

We were there in Nov and it was terrific. 3 of us ordered the fettucini alfredo and none of us were able to finish it. We foolishly ordered appetizers and therefore did not have room for dessert. I have to say that the kids' meals were as delicious as ours. I had to taste test :) Waiter was awesome, dd thought he looked like some tv star and when we told him he gave her his autograph! We were not cramped in nor were we rushed out, and there were many people there.

We are going back for lunch on our next trip, can't wait it's our first sit down meal we scheduled.

This is the restaurant in Epcot Italy? If it is, we loved it. food was great as was service (went in october 2005). The fettuccini alfredo was delicious. Of note, I was just recently in Italy and found out that traditional F/A actually does not have any cream. It is made of butter and cheese only....which is why it wasn't creamy.

DH and I had lunch at Alfredo's May 2006. We were both very happy with our meal. I had the Italian Sausage selection served over Tuscan beans. It was very good. DH had the Italian Trio sampler. Again it was very good. The portion size can be deceiving because the plates are so large. We both had more than enough once we started eating. We will most definately go back.

Two complaints.... The Italian rolls served were extremely hard/crusty. Without the dipping oil, I don't know if I could have eaten them. Perhaps they are suppose to be that way? The tables for two are extremely close together in the area we were seated. We were about 12 inches from the couple next to us. I was slightly uncomfortable with that.

I've been addicted to fettucini alfredo recently, and was anxiously anticipating the opportunity to devour theirs! Honestly though, I've had much better. The portions though were very generous. I found the atmosphere quite noisy. The wait staff was wonderful. I think I found redemption in their desserts. "A moment on the lips, lifetime on the hips" or so they say... definatley worth it.
You should try it, and make your own decisions. Good luck!

We've been visiting WDW since 1992 and have never bothered with Alfredo's due to the mediocre reviews. In January this year we eventually got around to it. As far as the space itself is concerned, I was impressed by the grandeur and surprised by the size - typical Disney cavernous canteen-style (why don't they section-off areas to make it more intimate?)

We were intially led to a table in the far corner right next to the entry to the kitchen. I've been seated in enough naff corners of WDW restaurants to know that I need to speak up straight away, so I immediately and instinctively asked if there was another table.

My impression was that this restaurant deserves the bad reviews. The food was OK (at a push - I'm feeling generous :teeth: ), but over-priced. The ambiance is lacking for the reason I've already stated (they've missed a trick here, because it's very ambitious in terms of decor). Having said all that, I'm glad we experienced it for ourselves. If, like us, you've tried most places at WDW, by all means give it a go. If it's one of a few precious choices, there are far better options.
