Here's my dilemma and I am hoping someone out here that is in the system might know of a solution.
I have been an pref. annual pass holder for 7 years now. I got married about 3 years ago and bought my wife a pref. pass. Then 5 months later, I bought her kids pref passes. We have had them since.
Well here is the problem that I am running into. I am due to renew my wife's and my passes now. I don't have to renew the kids passes until the middle of Oct. I really would like to Upgrade to the Premier Pass to get the benefits but the problem I am running into is that the kids passes won't get the benefits until October. So this would become a problem every year because our dates are not together. My wife and I would have the benefits now but they would do us no good if we were with the kids. I'm really talking about the after 4 p.m. express pass here because this is the main reason I want to upgrade to the premier pass.
I have called twice now and no one knows how to fix this. Certainly I'm not the only person out there with a family that has different times that the passes expire. I guess I'm asking if anyone knows if there is anyway to pro-rate the premier pass so we can all have the benefits at the same time. It's just not making any sense to me to let our passes expire or the kids expire just to make the dates the same.
I'm trying to spend more money with Universal, but they are making it very difficult.
If anyone knows of a way that I can fix this, please let me know. I'm now on my 30 day grace period trying to figure this out.
