Christine said:Lucky!!! Really, though, a few months ago I would have said it doesn't bother me at all. Now I'm just not so sure. I guess after being off of it for 60 days will tell the story. If I keep all my maladies, then I know that aspartame isn't the problem.
I honestly believe that luck has everything to do with it. Luck, together with genes. My dad smoked from the time he was 13 to age 65. He died of a abdominal aneurysm. His lungs were perfect.
I am an ex-D1 athlete that grew up on McDonald's and pop. I guess someday it might catch up with me.... but after almost 40 years of the same habits... I would think it would have taken it's toll by now.
Everyone has to do what works for them - I think everyone has an unhealthy habit, or part of their diet, or a risky job....... it's all part of life. I am just the type that wouldn't be very happy living in a bubble.
