Does anyone have a picture of the cribs at Beach Club?

DH & I were talking last night, and debating whether we should bring our play pen down with us to Disney for our 1.5 yr old. She sleeps great in her crib, but I'm not sure how she'd sleep in the playpen. Has anyone used the crib rentals, that could tell me about them, or what would you suggest? She also does not sleep in bed with us. She won't...its playtime to her, so we really need someplace for her to sleep on her own. Thanks!

We were at the Beach Club last month. I have a 9 month old and we requested a crib. They first brought us a metal crib (almost reminded me of a hospital crib) and it didn't feel that sturdy. I asked if they had any pack n plays and they brought that one down. It was in good condition and my dd slept fine in it. They do provide a Mickey sheet too. It worked fine for us- they set it up also. I wouldn't bring my own, just request one before you leave. Have a great time! :earsgirl:

we have used the pack n play's and they work fine. i always brought my own sheets though - i'm a little picky about that.

bring her favorite blanket, pillow, or stuffed animal. whatever it is that they normally sleep with (or all of the above), that will kind of "re-create" the crib at home. it should work fine.

my godson, now 2yo, has a little small pillow that he likes to sleep with, we brought that plus one of the blankets from his crib and he slept just fine. plus, i think that the size of the pack n play is larger than the crib that they carry... so it gives the child a little more sleeping room... :confused3

good luck!

We stayed at BCV's last fall. Pack and Play was already in the room. Our grandaughter slept fine in it.

Where can I buy (and what brand?) good pack and play sheets to bring along for DD if we decide to just use the one there? We never had to have any, as we've always brought our own, but it seems like a lot extra to bring if not needed. Still, would like to have our own sheets.

i have a Graco pn'p and i bought extra sheets for it at BabysRus. I think they were about $10 ea. I think you can also get them at Target.

We're in the same boat. We don't use our pack'n play here at home so I didn't want to buy sheets just for a trip. You know what works for us? We pack our twins' extra large blanket and use that as a sheet in the pack'n play. It is large enough to tuck under the mattress and it provides cushion and also something familiar at the same time. I also take their normal blankets that I cover them with, along with their stuffed animals and their aquarium! One baby sleeps just fine and the other baby gives us a hard time!

As for the cribs at BC, we were just there 2 weeks ago and when I asked at check-in for a "real" crib, the CM eyed me and said "do you REALLY want one -- it's all metal and doesn't have bumper pads." So I declined and they gave me the pack'n plays, which were just fine.

I would just use a sheet from the room and possibly a favorite blanket. No need spending a bundle on sheets that you will only use a few times. :)

Do they really have REAL cribs??? I'd take a full sized metal crib over a pack-n-play for my guys any day! I didn't think WDW offered anything other than Pack-n-plays so we were thinking of putting our guys in one of the beds with bedrails on all sides. Who cares about the bumpers - you aren't supposed to use them for kiddos over 6 months or so anyway.

We've traveled a lot and ALWAYS have a hard time with the crib situation. We've had rickety portable cribs (the half-sized ones) and dirty pack-n-plays and only once did we get ONE full sized crib. We had to decide which baby to put in the full sized and which to put in the half-sized!

Now I wonder if I should bother our TA at AAA again to add that to the room requests...
