Does anyone have a Eurofoam bed topper?

I think that's what they are called. They are also called Memory foam?

I was thinking of getting one but they are over $100 and I don't want to spend the money if they aren't comfy. We have a cheap waffle foam one and it felt great in the beginning but it's almost flat now after a year of use. :earseek:

I did some research on these last year.

Experts generally say that you need something over 2 inches to be comfortable in, more so if you or a bedmate are heavier, with up to 4 inches required in some instances.

I know people will say that their 1-2 inch version they purchased at Target or somewhere does feel better, and it might. The experts online think you really need something thicker than that for any benefits.

My mom has some kind of memory foam topper for her bed (about 2 inches thick) and it made the difference between her having to buy a new mattress and not.

I think we're going to get one for our bed until we can afford the sleep number bed we want.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do. My inlaws have the sleep number and it is so comfortable.

We have one on our bed at our cabin. We are buying one for home on our next trip to Costco. They are fabulous, far better than a pillowtop mattress or a feather bed.

Costco carries Novafoam brand that is 2 1/2 inches thick. They are very nice. I think we paid about 119 for the queen size. I think the king is about 134 or so.

I have one that I did buy at Target. It was in their bedding aisle, about $70 on sale and is about 2.5in thick. They had another one that was so thin it was laughable. I have problems with my hips but I love sleeping on my side and now I can.

This should hold me over until I buy a new bed.

This is where we got ours. We love it.

Good luck.

We have one of these too. Hubby loves it.
The only thing I don't like is that it is harder to wake him up when he is snoring!!!!!!

We have one on our bed and LOVE it. Ours is 2" thick. Our DDs loved ours so much that we got some for their beds too (because they insisted on sleeping in our bed), but theirs are only 1" because they sleep alone and only weigh 60 lbs. each. We got ours from Overstock.com.

Okay, I found one at Tuesday Morning (a discount place here) that was only $70. It's only 1.5" thick (I would have preferred 2"), but it has *definitely* made the difference for us.
