Does anyone have a Chef Mickey's Express update?

I believe I read that CME at CR was scheduled to open later this week. Does anyone know if this is still the case? Is there anyone there this week that can post a menu (if it does open)?

We will be staying at GF next month, but relying heavily on CS dining options at GF, Poly, MK and CR for dinner. We're using our TS credits on character breakfast and lunch meals on this trip. It would be great to have a new choice at CR.

Most likely, Mickey's Express will not be open next week. The area occupied by the steakhouse is currently a major construction zone. Different rumors have MIckey's Express opening anytime between September and November. There is no way that it is opening this week. There were some pics in both of the CR threads (general and photo) and Jack Spence of AllEars did a blog about it last week

Thanks for the update! Doesn't sound like we should hold our breath for a late September opening. Oh well, guess that means extra Gasparilla's and Captain Cooks for us!

There's a new rumor that the rehabbed restaurant will be named "Contempo Cafe" not Chef Mickey's Express.
