I can't find any codes for 2007 yet. I usually use either BJ's or Costco and neither have them out yet. Any codes would be appreciated.

TIA.

Rich

I'm in the same boat! Trying to plan & reserve early..but no codes. Thanks for asking just what I was thinking :goodvibes

I am not sure if this will help you out but I do have the 2007 Entertainment Book and the ID # for Alamo is 7012170, the ID Number for National is 5004607. You obviously can not use the coupon codes without the coupon but I do not see why you can't use the ID # (which alone got me a substantial discount even before coupon was applied). If questioned I think I would be tempted to say well... "I already used the coupon, gave it to a friend whatever and it did not say I could not use just the ID code" Also be sure to check out Mousesavers...I am pretty sure there are some codes on there valid for 2007 already! Good luck!

Darn, none of the Entertainment ID's seem to be any savings at all :( Does Dollar have an ID by chance? I don't think any of the '07's have been released though... I've tried all afternoon :confused3

I just tried KISS2 on dollar for my dates and it worked .

I got 158.99 per week for a mini van and 29.99 per extra day so, my total for june 2-june 12 is now 318.24!!

Costco has the Winter/Spring travel flier out in the stores now, at least they did in ours yesterday. They are good through April 30th, 2007.

The codes (not the coupon, just the Costco rates) are:

Alamo 7013284
Avis A108335
Budget W852810
Hertz 336436

Hope that helps a little!

Could you please do me a BIG favor? When I click on the National $20. coupon from the 2007 Ent. book, it comes back saying invalid URL. Could you try it on your computer and see if it works for you.
Every other coupon on the site works for me except the $20.
Thank you.

I just tried it and it works fine for me... not sure how I can help you though. Maybe by now you have gotten it to work?

You helped me just by seeing if it worked on your computer. :thumbsup2
Thanks again.

I'm trying the KISS2 code for dollar, but it comes back to say invalid CD #, what am I missing?

I'm missing something, I can't find a place to enter a promo code?

You have to go to the specials ,click on featured specials and there is a place to put a promo code there. I couldn't find it at first either!

Thanks! I've now found it, but it's giving me a rate of 245 for March 11-18... I can't get the 158 the special advertises?

No, just those four. The Costco Travel site is down so I can't tell if they have any up there yet either. I need Dollar too, finally got a rental for under $600!

I just used the KISS2 code for Dollar on Wednesday for August 2007 and it worked. I saved about $400 for a minivan for two weeks. The base rate I got was $209.99 (which was much better than the $399.99 rate I've been seeing) so I didn't do as well as Amanda.

Hmm, funny how that kiss2 code is giving different rates... our base rate was 245, I HOPE I can get a base rate of under 200 (for a minivan) at some point.

One thing I noticed about the National site, that might be recent, or might not - the first page, where you see a list of different car classes along with prices quoted, does *not* include the discount. You need to choose a car class and go on to the *next* page, where the discount now appears.

For the Entertainment Book, I think it's 10%. Interestingly, the generic EmeraldAisle code gives 11%, and at least recently, has also shown the best base rate before discounts.

The coupons at the National site are now up to 3/31/07 (about a day or two ago it was still 12/31/06) I was able to use the ND41 coupon and shave off $20. I also used the ancient Disney coupon code 5901600. Together, I was able to get EI 9 days for $177+fees= $231. I'm still looking, but that is the best I've found so far for early January.
Goof
