Does anyone else think Drew Carey is HORRIBLE on the Price is Right?

I just can't stand him. It's like he talks monotone or something. I don't know it's just not the same. To me he just doesn't have the right personality.

I've had a chance to see him on it a few times now - and I'm not liking it! I like Drew Carey - just not as host to Bob Barker's show! I really don't think anyone would do a good job following in BB's footsteps.

I saw TPiR for the first time since Bob left this past Monday. It seemed strange to me, and Drew definitely seemed stiff. He's still feeling his way in this role.

I don't think it is fair to compare him to Bob Barker. How many years was Bob on, like 40? He had plenty of time to hone his skills and we were all used to him. The last 5 years or so that he was on I thought that he was losing it.

I think he's doing okay. He's not Bob...but I'll bet Bob wasn't even Bob his first year or so.

I like Drew on TPiR.

I watched it when one of the ds was home sick and even the ds didnt like Drew. I know Drew was in the habit of saying this "stuff" etc. instead of prizes, prize value etc. Has he changed? He has a good personality but just not for this show. I was wishing they would have had John O'Hurley from Family Feud. He seems more like Bob's personality.

I don't particularly like him to begin with, but even if I did, he's a horrible choice for that particular show.. Just awful...

I don't think people would be satisfied with anyone doing this job after Bob Barker did it so very well for so many years. Give him time, I think he will grow into it. He does seem like a nice guy.
As for me, I am just so grateful it's not "Rosie O'Donnell's The Price is Right," where she would manage to lecture us on the state of the world (her view of it) in between showcase showdowns.

I haven't seen him on the show. I would've liked to have seen Dana Carey (is that his name? - Church Lady) do it. Just for the heck of it.

I think I was thinking he might be funny too. I don't know he just doesn't seem to be a "fit". I do think there are people out there who could have been or still could be a fit for the show. I don't dislike him at all and he is good as a comedian but not as a game show host. It just needs more personality!

I haven't seen Drew Carey host yet, but is there anyone who would do a good job hosting any game show? It's kind of a lost craft.

John O Hurley is good in Family Fued though.
