This will be my longest trip at 17 total days. I usually do laundry at the resorts, but I still overpack because "you never know". This time I am doing it very differently. I will not have access to the park until my second full day (day 1 is travel from West Coast). So, I plan to uber to Publix and pick some stuff up instead of trying to pack it all. Things like toiletries, some OTC meds, some drinks and snacks, water and all that jazz.
I also usually carry a backpack or sling with me in the park,s but I am either going to get a locker for it, or try to go fanny pack or pockets only. I always wear shirts with snapped or buttoned breast pockets.
I have a lot of "what if" scenarios that shoot around in my head, so packing light is so hard. I recently did about a day and a half last minute trip to Vegas and tried to get it all in just a backpack, but couldn't let myself do it. I was so disappointed in myself.
The overall goal this Disney trip is 1 checked bag, one backpack. I brought a carry-on in addition to the last 2 times, and it is so cumbersome and annoying. I have got to make this work! I am going to also try one of these vacuum packing bag systems
Instagram keeps advertising to me, so I can hopefully condense everything down and make the use of space more economical. Wish me luck! 40 more days!
