Does anyone else love Toby Keith?

I heard him tell that story, too. That's a good one. But I have yet to see that video from beginning to end. Did you hear that the director wanted them to drink colored water, but they insisted on real whiskey, so they were all drunk and had to stop shooting for a while? That cracked me up.

The new album is going to have that song he sings in concert..."She didn't say no...she said 'Hell, no.'"

But I think the best song I ever heard him sing was the old Merle Haggard song "Mama Tried." He sang it in a TV concert with Merle. I love Merle, I love that song...

I love that Toby tooooooooo. But he does too many bar/drinking songs/videos right now. I LOVE the song "How Do You Like Me Now" and
"Whos Your Daddy"

Oh, that I Love This Bar Song drives me nuts. He LIKES his truck, he LIKES his girlfriend (note: he's putting a woman and a truck on the same plane here), but he LOVES his bar.

But that is Typical Guy stuff, and that's Toby.

He's not very fan friendly or he wasn't when I have seen him. I think he has forgotten where he comes from and acts a bit too "big for his britches" as my Grandmother would say.

I don't know how he is now that he's rich and famous...but years ago when he was just starting he played at a bar called Mo's in Katy, TX. My friend was there and Toby sat and chatted with her and was the sweetest guy! She is one of his biggest fans! Of course this was a long time ago and the place was dead because no one knew about him yet. She knew he'd make it big and is happy for him.
I love his music and love it that he writes most of it himself!
