Does anyone else love Millionaire?

One of our families favorite things to do at Disney is to try to get into the Hot Seat. But we are a little worried that Disney will do away with this attraction because its not on live TV anymore. Does anyone else think of Millionaire as a can't miss show!

Well it's not on every night but ABC still runs Super Millionaire specials during sweeps week. And the syndicated daytime version with Meredith Viera is doing well. They just filmed a bunch of shows at MGM as a matter of fact.

Our family loves this show as well and try to make it into a couple of shows every trip. It's an especially nice break during a hot summer afternoon or rainy downpour!

We all love Millionaire, even our DD-12 and DS-11. We missed it during our January trip, but can't wait until November.

If you can not guess by my user name, I also loved Who Wants To Be a Millionaire-Play It. I have been on the hot seat 10 times and my son has been on five times. We love this attraction and no trip to WDW is complete with trying to get on the hot seat. I have met a million point winner and have played a couple of rounds with him and his wife. Last time I hearded from him, he had been on the hot seat at both DCA and WDW a total of 17 or so times.

Personally, if Disney was to Disney did away with Millionaire, I would not loose any sleep. I know there are a great deal of people who enjoy the show, but it does nothing for me. I would rather see a ride or a more entertaining show put in its place. Walt knows they need more rides in that Park. But, everyone is entitled to their opinion, so who knows what they will do. Just one Disney Fan with an opinion.

Our family is addicted to Millionaire....all 6 of us have been in the hot seat including my 7yr old (when she was 6). My DH has gotten in the most with 8 times..myself I've gotten in 3 times.....We have to play multipule times every trip to give everybody a chance to try to get in the hotseat...

We love it too. Been on the top 10 board but not really close to the hot seat. It is a great family attraction, especially if you have a child like my DS who is not into thrill rides but loves "attractions".

I hope it will still be there next Feb. when we get back.

zurgswife! Our countdowns are almost the same for our first ever spring break trip too. Have always gone off season so I'm sure I'll be amazed at the crowds!

We'll work in Millionaire I'm sure w/goal of getting DD to hot seat. She would be so thrilled especially if Kevin was host! As she says, "He's HOT"

We love it, too!! Especially Star Wars weekends with the Characters in the audience. In December, the time was up and they checked the top 10, I was in the #1 spot. Story of my life........

I love it and would hate to see it go. I have been in the Hot Seat 4 times (but have never gone all the way). On one solo trip, I spent all day doing this attraction - had a ball!

The DisneyLAND version closed about 6(?) months ago with little fanfare. My understanding is that most of the winners were locals / AP holders who would visit the park almost solely to try and win the free trip. For a while there were rumors that the WDW version was doomed, too, but those whispers have since died-down.

favorite attraction at wdw! me and my group went about 7 times during our last trip. my brother and i both got into the hot seat.

I really enjoy Millionaire. I have made the Hot Seat twice and lost at the 125K Pt Question and then 250K Pt question this past December. I would miss it if it was gone, my DW would not care as she only tolerates it on my behalf.

I was worried because back in September, they took out the fast pass machines and I was afraid that the WDW version was on its way out. So far the attraction is apparently doing well.

DH and I really like this one. Last year he and I spent one whole day trying to get in the hotseat. He got up to #4 on the list and twice I would have been the next person in had the session not ended. We plan on spending one of our "Studios" days this year trying to get in.
