Frank, how do I fix my cookies in Firefox? Also, where do I go to delete cookies in Firefox periodically. The folder was easy to find in I.E.
Click on tools -> Options -> go to the Privacy tab and make sure "accept cookies from site is checked". Underneath I uncheck allowing 3r party cookies and set "keep until" to "I close firefox".
I also have two add-ins installed for cookie handling. One is called "CookieSafe" and I go in there and set the cookie handling I wish to have. This will put a small icon in the bottom of the page that allows for easy exception handling if you need to. Because flash cookies are so different then regular cookies I also installed an add-on called "BetterPrivacy" which will allow you to set the deletion of flash cookies and also DOM storage.
Firefox stores cookies differently then IE. Instead of a folder they are stored as entries in a file named cookies.sqlite. This is located inside your profile and might be hidden if you are hiding system files.
If your windows profile folder is named Imzadi and your system drive is C: then yours would be located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Imzadi\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\,some collection of letters and numbers>.default
You can't really just delete it though, you will have to manipulate it with a plug-in.
