I have older kids and they are always saying I am obessed with Disney. Since our trip is all I talk about. Just a few more days and we will be there. :woohoo:

I have a 23 and 21 year old--and they both think I'm nuts--especially the 23 year old; the 21 year old is a little easier on me because he hasn't been since 2000 and keeps asking when we are taking him with us. I told him when he could pay for it!:rotfl2:

The whole family thinks I'm obsessed, however who is happy I did all of this when we get there and I have found out about some unknown surprises or plot out the room request and our thrilled with my selection. It's a thankless job...and I enjoy every exciting minute. (Heck - now my DD (13) and DD (3) make comments about getting married at WDW!princess:

GUILTY AS CHARGED...

my kids (12 and 9) say it all the time. I tell them that there are a lot worse things I could be addicted to.:snooty:

Obsessed? Count me in, I already know the water's warm:goodvibes

My DS, age 9, thought I was Disney obsessed until we didn't go for about 2 years and he is now missing it.
He doesn't know that he and I are going back in December. I am sure he will be very excited when he finds out the morning we are leaving.

The whole family think I am obbessed, but they like that I plan it all!!! For me, the planning and reading get me in the Disney mood. It's like having the magic at home!! I think my DD is gonna be just like me, she just doesn't know it yet:laughing::laughing:

I'll see you all these comments and raise you a "STOP THINKING ABOUT IT MOM" :rotfl2:

I'm so glad I'm not the only Disney-obsessed mom. I'm more excited about our trip than the kids (aged 9 and 14) are. I really don't understand why they don't want me to read them the Disney menus. I even play pixie hollow just to feel the magic! Wouldn't it be cool if there were Disney World version of Pixie Hollow? Instead of fairies, it would be Disney-obsessed moms flying over Disney World, checking out the wait times of the attractions, catching glimpses of the fireworks and reading the menus.

My kids are grown and my son thinks I'm nuts but now that my daughter had a DD of her own she loves how I plan and says she thinks it makes for the best vacation ever . She loves that I plan all our days down to the ADRs.shc says it like having her own personal tour guide. :cool1:

I am so playing this version...

Yes, my kids and everyone think I am Disney obsessed. What can I say, I surround myself with very smart people. When they are right, they're right.

My whole family thinks I am nuts. My stepmother said last night, they cannot wait until my trip is here, so they won't hear about all the plans, the meals, etc.

I said, "sorry about your luck, I am already booked for next year, so the planning starts the day I get back!"

Hi. My name is Phil, and I'm a Disney Addict!

Everyone thinks I'm obsessed UNTIL we get to the park and thank me for being so prepared. Or until friends need advice on trip planning.

But where else can you escape the real world and be in a fantasy world for a week?

"Does anyone else have kids who think you are obsessed with disney"

Now that is definately a loaded question. :goodvibes

OH Ya they do. I get a hard time from the whole family. If I am going to say anything they will say wait if it's about Disney we don't want to hear :sad2: I don't know why they feel this way, only have of my conversations are Disney related.:rotfl2:

I am right there with you. I think my co-workers are so willing to do my job just so I will go and quit talking about it. But I love every minute of the planning. Leaving in 66 hrs...yipee!!

My Kids don't think that...they love WDW almost as much as I do I think! :thumbsup2

BUT.................my DH thinks that I am obsessed! OH WELL!!! :rotfl:

I think though deep down that the hubby really loves WDW too but just doesn't want to admit it out loud!! hehe

They don't think it They KNOW IT! Although my DH is just as bad if not worse, he wakes them up every morning:eek: to tell them how many days left til we leave and every night before bed. We just decided to leave earlier than planned next week and not tell them we are staying a night in the pirate rooms and Trex restaraunt lets see if they call us crazy then!
