I have a 3-ring Binder and a Deluxe Passporter. The WDW with Kids book and I just ordered Kelly Monaghan's Universal book. These are all kept in the WDW tote bag. Oh well, what's the fun of being compulsive if you don't show it!!!

Just started planning our trip for this coming September about a week ago and already have half a binder full.. I'm sure someone will laugh BUT all they have to do is remember back to the last time that I went through this kind of tortuous planning (before I even had a computer!) when my daughter decided the week after Christmas (in '96) that she wanted to get married that coming May 20th - IN MAINE - OUTSIDE AT NUBBLE LIGHTHOUSE - with 58 guests in attendance (not counting the bridal party) - a sit-down dinner reception afterwords - AND a reception (complete with video of the actual wedding ceremony) for 180 guests back here in NEW YORK two weeks after that!!! Well - let me tell you - THAT required some very quick action and TONS of planning (just consider the possibilities of what COULD have gone wrong) and guess what?? It was a SMASHING success - people are STILL raving about it (there's even a picture of my daughter and her husband on the York, Maine Chamber of Commerce web site!) and thanks to my oodles and oodles of binders, it was done on a very small budget - considering all that was involved.. I'm a real bug on pre-planning but it always pans out in the end.. To take a trip all the way to Disney World (considering the costs involved) without this kind of planning would be NUTS!! I want to get the BIGGEST bang I can out of my buck, so you can bet that my "binder" or "BINDERS" will be going with us!! :)

My husband HATES the preplanning - will not discuss it in any way, shape or form. But he did say at the 120 day mark (June 5) we can discuss meals. By that time I will have been planning for 5 months without him.
After our 1996 trip he has remarked to every person possible that I did so much planning but everything got worked in and I knew alot of the hidden secrets, etc. He gives lots of compliments on the work done. So I guess it is appreciated.

Are we all type A personalities? Do you do this at work too? and in the rest of your life? of course to a smaller degree

Picking up passporter Soon, lots of neet Info. CBR 99 Allstar movies Feb 2001, Allstar music Aug 2001.....122 days until WDW......

For our 1996 and 1998 trip we had a binder with it all printed out (actually I just found it :) ). Then I realized how many trees I was killing by printing out all the posts....so I got smart (took a while though) and cut and paste into a Word document then I could edit what I needed later. After editing it I made the pages smaller and put them in a very small notebook/old calendar holder thingy. (Technical term for it)

We would carry that around with us instead of a ton of paper or forgetting what was written in the binder back in the room. It helped us!

Last year when we went out west I had my trusty folder. Each segment of the trip had a special place/ pocket. Dh had such a hard time with remembering to PUT EVERYTHING BACK EXACTLY HOW YOU FOUND IT!!!!!

He quickly learned. Now this year he is VERY good at not messing up the "system". And yes he has become a folder guru also!!!
