I've got them everywhere! You know in Beauty and the Beast when Gaston says "I use antlers in all of my decorating?" I say "I use beanies in all of my decorating!".

LOL
my DD banned them all to plastic containers in the basement -
but they are not allowed to leave the house!

We have 100+ beanie babies, and we're not allowed to part with any. I don't mind too much, they don't take up too much space, and they are kinda cute. I was one of the crazy moms driving to every Mcdonalds in 100 mile radius trying to get all the teenies too. What were we thinking? But I didn't collect them for any reason except my daughter LOVED them and played with them ALL.

We used to. We threw the entire collection up on ebay a couple years ago (100+) and made a couple hundred dollars. It was a guy looking to open a trading cards/collectibles store, so I think we got him off to a good start. :flower:

I used to have a big plastic bin stuffed full of all bears, but sold them at the flea market last fall.

I did keep a few though, Garcia, Princess, Peace, Glory, USA and I love Florida. Plus I have one of The Attic Treasures Collection, his name is Logan and he is a light brown bear wearing a denim jacket with a Canadian Flag on the back. My sister got him for me when she went to Canada for a weekend getaway.

I had a bennie collection before I had kids. My DD now loves to play with them.

My neighbor just had a garage sale and sold hundreds of them in perfect condtion for $1 each (or less, maybe it was 2 for 1$) anyway we ended up with more! We have a bennie decoration shelf, but DD pulls them all over and spreds them around the house. I don't worry anymore about tags or perfect condtion. She is having fun and that is all that maters.

(I had a thing for the bears so we have a few of them.) :paw:

yes to the tune of 2 and half collections plus my mothers are waiting up in MI for me to DO SOMETHING with them. I also have buddys up the wazoo.

Yes, and my brother-in-law and sister made a great Noah's Ark for them to reside in.

My ex husband and I collected Beanies. I got the buddies and a few of the bears in the divorce...lol. The buddies are out in the garage in plastic tubs! I do have my brittania, princess, germania...and a few others I can't remember...now I only buy them if I like them...or if I feel like it...lol

Just about 20 of the Kit Kats. I guess that's just a drop in the bucket but I don't need any more collections!

But for me it's a 'cupboard' full of them as I have not collected any new ones in years! Seemed a good idea at the time? :rolleyes1

I recently gave all mine to an orphanage in China. The little girls do appreciate a pal of their own. :flower: Someone I knew was going to China and so that's how they went.

Yes, I have about 200 of them, mostly bears. I collected them for about 5 years. They only ones I buy now are the Christmas bears. I am saving the for my graddaughter when she gets a little older.

I packed a lot of my beanies into a rubbermaid container this summer, but before that they were all over my room. Don't let that fool you though, I still have a bunch. I have a wall hanger that's got 20 or 25 bears in it, plus some on top of the hanger thing. Then I've got a bunch all over my headboard (it's a bookcase headboard). The ones that I've left out are all bears, holiday beanies, birthday beanies, or just plain cute beanies.

We gave several away but DS has several bears in his room and I kept some holiday BB's and a few that were just too cute to part with. I've always been sad that they didn't stay more popular.

My oldest dd collects them.. she probably has around 400 now.. I bought around 80 of them off ebay for her birthday last year.. she also has buddies up the wazoo.. she gets a new one every birthday, christmas, valentines and easter.. then in between and like last year a bunch at once.. she's been collecting for about 8 years
