Or is it just me? I am home for lunch and am so mad. I really HATE working with her.

She has gone to our store manager complaining about me. She said that people tell her I say snide remarks about her all the time. In front of the Manager I asked her who or what did they say. She wouldn't even tell me what my so called snide remarks were. Store manager just thinks she has a problem with me. Oh well.

REALLY LOUD CLEANSING SCREAM HERE.

Thanks for listening.

I work with someone that just gets under my skin.

We took a personality test during a team building excersie - you were one of 4 colors - we were the opposite colors.

We are both in management so it makes it hard. I just rely on the fact that she does sloppy work and I don't. It will catch up with her sooner or later!

Although I try to be tolerant and understanding there have been several people I have worked with that really bothered me. It happens when you get different personalities together in one spot for too long. You'll never like everyone.

Right now there is one woman I can't stand. There have been so many things she has said and done since she has been with us that I can no longer trust her. Lately, I have tried my best just to stay away from her. We don't have to work on projects together so staying away is easier in this case. I also suspect that other people feel the same about her since I've noticed previous connections breaking. When people learn her game they get smart and leave. However, we are the ones that end up being called "jealous" or "unfriendly". Whatever.

I'm no longer working, but yes, there was one woman that was just awful. She somehow believed that she was higher class than the rest of us. Her dress, her mannerisms, her conversations - they all revolved around how cultured she was. It drove everyone nuts.

Wasn't it a great day when we found out she lived in a trailer!

Had one that I couldn't stand so much... he was the main reason I left a decent job with a great owner. They made him a partner, and I left. Turns out, I was right all along... unfortunately, no one else realized what a complete #&$!@* he was until he'd taken most of the company down with him.

I've also worked with someone that hated me. That one was hard - she was my boss. I was young, in college, engaged... I can only think that maybe she was a little jealous. Don't know. I was meek & mild in those days... sucked while I was there, but sure made me stronger! ;)

Currently I have a pretty good group of co-workers...there are a couple that are lazy and don't pull their weight, a couple who make some bad choices and then expect everyone to tell them they are right OR feel sorry for them when the consequences of the same mistakes over and over again come back to bite them. Overall, they are pleasnt to work with, if a little kooky!

At a previous job, I had a boss who didn't like me, I think because she was afraid I was after her job, which was not the case. She actually did things such as make entries into the computer that she tried to make look like entries I made...the only problem was the dates on them were for when I was away on my honeymoon!!!!! Not the brightest bulb in the fixture.

Anyhow, due to some affirmative action/discrimination threats, she was able to keep her job as supervisor despite the fact that she was caught falsifying records(it was an insurance company, so fraud did have some ramifications!!!). I determined that it was not a company who set of ethics/values matched mine, I preferred to work for a company that was managed with integrity, and so I left.

The funny thing is, about a week after I left, she was involved in another similar type incident with someone of the same ethnic background as she was, and THEN got demoted! Interesting...

Once I had an assistant that I couldn't stand, and he felt the same about me. We got off on the wrong foot because he wanted the job that I was given, as the dept. manager, and he was kept as assistant. This guy made no effort to get along with anyone! It was no fun watching the smiles disappear from everyone's face when he arrived to start his shift. He also did whatever he could to try and make me look bad. He actually accused me of conspiring with our employees that they should call in sick when he was working! This just made him look paranoid in front of our supervisors.
Anyway, my advice is just common sense. Make sure you cover yourself (CYA we always called it) so the other person can never get you in trouble or catch you doing anything wrong. Try to be polite and considerate, even when she goes out of her way to be the opposite. And keep an eye out for the mistake that she is bound to make eventually! Even if you can't do anything to get rid of her, eventually something will happen to make things better.

I've been working at the same restaurant for 6 years now. During that time, I've seen many people that I don't care for come and go.

But as a cute story, 3 summers ago, a new guy, J, started working. Now, he and I hated each other. He was too cocky and resented my seniority. I used to hate when we had to work shifts together. Well this past summer, we started to hang out and now we're dating. We still work together, but now it's way more fun.

You guys are making me feel very lucky that I only have one coworker and a minister at that.

It is to the point of setting up a mediation session. Her flirting with every man in the department and every male customer is becoming very uncomfortable to a few of us. Her not following procedure because she is always too busy has to be addressed. Everything will be witnessed and documented so when the time comes and she "three strikes" and she is out, then I won't feel bad.

She is an adult. She can decide if she wants to make the changes or not.
