Not to be a stick in the mud, since we have MORE than our share of snow this past winter, and now it seems it rains every weekend, so the sunshine has been few and far between.

But, there is something about the bright early morning sun. Maybe because it is so low, it seems like it is eye level, right in the eyes. I cannot see, I hate squinting.

I bring this up, because as I sit here and look at the cloudy day, because it is going to rain later, I am actually GLAD it is cloudy, I will be able to SEE my DD play soccer this morning. The spectators are on the side that faces the sun. Her games are at 8AM, it is so hard to see, while trying to keep the sun out of our eyes.

See, clouds are good for something! :cloud9:

I don't like the sun when its shining in my face but I do like the sun to warm me up. I just hate mornings all together :rotfl2:

I love the early morning sun! When I go down to the barn to feed the horses, everything seems so fresh and new and hopeful for the day. And it's just so peaceful. Now driving in it is another thing! And I'm sure it's not easy watching a soccer game with it.

The sun in the morning is my most favorite time of day. We built the addition so the morning sun would shine in as much as possible.

Hate the morning sun. Our bedroom windows face east and until last week we had these horrible peach-colored window treatments/blinds. The sun would come right in and seemed to almost intensify through the peach. Finally after four years we changed the window treatments to dark purple curtains. No light coming in. It's great!

it is kind of brite but I still like the sun

I love to see a bright sunny morning. It cheers me up for the day. :)

I LOVE sunrises.

For some reason, they do not bother me at all---but when I have to drive into the sunset--that is REALLY annoying.

I hate being out in the morning...period. I keep the blinds pulled until it goes down enough then open them. Then sun is always glaring at me when I go to school in the morning.

I hate mornings - period. If I have to wake up to an alarm, it's never good for me. But I'd rather have the bright sun if I have to get up early - it wakes me up more. :sunny:

Love seeing the early morning sun ~ Especially when I don't have to go to work and that way really enhoy and appreciate it :sunny:

I dont mind it if I'm indoors. It's when I'm at the Rec Center and its glarring off the white painted pool that it bothers me.

My DD7 really doesn't like it- I think she has sensative eyes....seems no matter what direction she's looking- she's squinting.

I love the early morning sun. It's beautiful here. It's when it hits about 12:00 and the sun is glaring and hot - that's when it's not so beautiful anymore.

Early morning is my favorite time of day. But I have to admit it's a pain when the road turns and we're driving directly East into it! It slows down traffic unbelievably.

I'd take sun over rain any day. But I prefer looking at the sun late morning so I can sleep in. :sunny:

I love waking up on a bright sunny morning - hate when its rainy or cloudy in the AM. However, I hate being woken BY the sun. I want my bedroom as pitch black as possible. We have opaque shades and I tape down the edges to keep the light from coming in. Even so, I still end up waking once the room starts getting light. DW and I were just talking about replacing the shades to somehow block more light.

Personally, I can't think of much that I don't hate in the early morning.
