Does anyone else get over-emotional about the magic of Disney?

Yes. I've been to Disney every year growing up. Mostly in January because my mom would come for a conference. She'd pull me out of school with special permission just to go to Disney World. Sometimes she'd invite one of my friends to go along with us. I get watery eyes a lot just thinking of going to Disney World. Then a week before going to Disney World. I get butterflies in my stomach. Same thing on the day of the trip when I have to fly all the way across the U.S.A. from where I live, with my family. When we arrive at Orlando International Airport. The butterflies in my stomach are still there from the moment we enter the terminal to the moment we're riding on the airport tram.

I found out that my friend got a timeshare the week of my birthday, and the Halloween party this year after I told her that I had been dreaming of celebrating my birthday at Disney World, and wanting to go to the Halloween party at the Magic Kingdom. Plus see the Boo-To-You parade. I can't seem to stop smiling ever because I'm so excited just thinking about it. Even though I have three big wonderful trips that I'm going to be going on before it. I'm looking forward to those trips too. But, getting to go to Disney World for my birthday this year is exciting me more.

Yes. For me, it's kind of deep. My dad has been absent father for most of my life, but when he was around, he'd always say oh next summer, I'm taking you to Disney world....so I'd tell all my friends, next summer I was going! Then I'd watch my friends go with their families....and my trip never happened. So I swore I'd take my babies. And a couple times, yes it got pushed off bc I'd be pregnant or something major happened.....but I finally got them there. It was very emotional for me, bc I kept my promise, and if I have nothing else, I have that memory. Once we did it, we realized how doable it really is and want to make it an annual thing.

I cried seeing belle at enchanted tales, bc she was always my childhood favorite, and she looked so beautiful, and there she was- REAL as can be! I cried during wishes bc well, who doesn't? I watch YouTube videos sometimes and get teary ....my daughter watches the planning dvd nearly every day and just the music makes me emotional! My husband knows I love it, but I don't think he quite gets it. But his childhood was completely different then mine was, he doesn't know what it's like to be really let down by a parent. So not knowing that, I don't think he can ever really truly understand what it means to me to give my kids the memories that I craved so badly.

I did just this morning! I'm not a mom, but I have 2 goddaughters who are almost 4 months old. I'm already invited to WDW with the family just before their 3rd birthday. I was watching a WDW planning DVD this morning (I'm going to WDW this September), and the tears started flowing as I imagined going with these 2 precious little girls to WDW in 2018! :)

I'm getting misty eyed reading this thread lol!
My weakness is reveal videos... Oh the tears!
