Does anyone else frame their pins?

How do you hang it though? With the pin backs on the back sticking out & the hanging support flush on the frame, how does the hanging support meet the nail without the pin backs getting in the way?

Ok I see what you mean, but I don't hang them like that. The frames I have come with two loop hooks and a nice piece of string. I put the string through the two loops that I have attached to the top two corners of the frame then hang it on the hook that I have put on the wall.
My friend who frames says she just uses a longer nail or hook that sticks out a little further so that the pin backs are flush with the wall.
Hope that helps.

I have done a few.

All of you, those are GREAT! :thumbsup2 Very creative!

I never knew you could actually frame pins before, but I love the idea. (I just started pin collecting this past December....it's addicting, and I just keep them on the lanyard and I hang that from my wall.)

You people are so creative! I never even thought of framing them like that! Thanks everyone for the pics. :thumbsup2

I love all the different framed pins!! Mine aren't framed, but I did just make a display board. Here is what the final product looks like:

I really love all your pins and how you have them displayed! Did you use shadow boxes, to put your pins in?

We have an AC Moore and Michaels craft stores here in Mass....The shadow boxes are usually $40, BUT, there are always 50% off coupons and I use them....We currently have 8 frames of pins!!! I also display some on lanyards (YOAMD lanyard looks great!) and on a special Mickey Cork Board holder....Ill put that on my site as well.....

Thanks!

I love the frames but were wondering how you attatch the pins to the boards. I say that one lady used a bulliten board, but still did not tell my how to attotch the pins to the bulliten board

I mostly don't use the board that comes with the frames. I tend to use cardboard or cork for walls. If it is big I make the holes with a hammer and nails then put the pins through.

I would just like to post a giant thank you!!!

You folks are truly creative and have given me some wonderful ideas and
pointers to start showcasing my own pins. I can't wait for the weekend to
hit Michael's and AC Moore.

Thank you again for your sharing your beautiful creations.
