for your wedding are you planning or did you have a disney song for your wedding song? if so what was it and why?
mine was kiss the girl because we love ariel and that song. i am listening to the one by ashley tisdale right now on my computer on the dvd player. it is a great song.
what are yours

well...when you get married at Disney, it just seems fitting that ALL the wedding songs be Disney songs! ;)

ours were:
“Can you feel the love tonight” - Groom Processional
“Once upon a dream” - Bride Processional
“Zip A Dee Doo Dah” - Recessional

And the violinist played a few others during our cake/champagne reception, but to be honest, I was too excited to notice what they were! :teeth:

i agree. it fits perfectly.
we have 4 favorite disney song
when you wish upon a star
kiss the girl
a dream is a wish your heart makes
beauty and the beast.

I wish we had danced to "When You Wish Upon a Star" but I wasn't as "disney-fied" then as I am now.

on my mp3 player i have
kiss the girl by ashley tisdale
when you wish upon a star
a dream is a wish your heart makes
zip a dee doo dah
everybody has a laughing place
a friend like me
when she loved me
can you feel the love tonight
hakuna matata
circle of life
can not wait to be king
beauty and the beast
be our guest
you can fly you can fly you can fly
i wanna be like you
under the sea
a whole new world
songs from fantasmic, wishes, and illuminations
winnie the pooh songs
part of your world
and many more i can't think of right now

While people were being seated I had my DJ play the Disney Wedding CD.
During our reception I had the surprise and very big highlight of the evening when my son played Can You Feel The Love Tonight on his Viola. He and his orchestra had planned it and they surprised me at the reception.

We didn't use the music, but we had the Mickey and Minnie cake topper and the champagne glasses. Come to think of it, I'm upset now that we had the glasses engraved with our names and the date, since we're getting divorced. Now I don't know what to do with them.

Our first dance was to "'Bout Time" by Satchmo (I think the song was from The One and Only Genuine Original Family Band...). It was kinda an inside joke between us and our best man and matron of honor, lol. ;)

I wasnt as much of a Disney freak when we got married but I must have known what was to come. We had a Mickey & Minnie cake topper and our first dance was Can You Feel The Love Tonight (Lion King was one of the first movies we saw together). When we left after the reception we made sure to have our videographer tape us saying "We're Going To Disney World!". Little did I know that would become something we do multiple times a year. :wizard:
