I have been to Disneyland in California twice and I have now been to MK, Walt Disney World in Florida twice.

I adore both of these places but Toontown at Disneyland in California seems to be more structured and have quite a few more rides there. It seems to go in a circle where things seems more accessible.

At Toontown in MK Walt Disney World, Florida all there seems to be in the way of rides is Goofy's Brainstormer as well as the opporunity to meet Mickey and Co.

This land all just seems to go in Straight line towards Tomorrowland.

What are people's opinions on this? Could Toontown at MK, Walt Disney World be improved? Are people happy with this land?

Thanks

I couldn't agree with you more. There was a time when the barnstormer wasn't even there! There use to be this cute show with all the characters from the disney shows (the name escapes me right now, but I know Baloo was one of them and Mickey of course, OH Bonkers, that was the name of the show, I think, lol) anyway, it was a really cute show and it was in the back of the judges tent but they stopped it a few years ago. I know they have Donald's Boat but the water is never on and that is about it for attractions and they truly could use something else going on there.

I agree with you. I've always wondered why Disney built such a scaled-down version of Toontown in WDW. I was amazed by the size of Disneyland's Toontown.

I couldn't agree more. This is a really under developed. The fact that the water is never on makes Donald's boat a dull attraction at best. Although the meet and greets are nice, there is so much more that could make this area fun for kids. I always thought that they would structure it more like DL, especially after they cancelled the show and added the Barnstormer.

I agree with you-we pretty much skipped it on our last visit. We went there to ride the Barnstormer and left.

I've always thought as WDW's Toontown as temporary. It's why I thought they never put anything more permanent there. I don't think the WDW area has the type of area needed to put in anything like the DL Toontown. I would rather they put something like DL's Toontown in MGM and include a few non Disney toons like they did in the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
