How does this sound ? we realize we won't get to see everything taking breaks but with the 3 kids I think we will need them. any input? thanks!

I would definitely plan to leave MGM on the last day at 2. You don't want to have any problems with getting to the airport and all that security stuff.

I think that 1pm is reasonable for MGM the first day.

As for the kids, you will need breaks, maybe not necessarily going back to the hotel, but do sit down and let their feet rest. For the little one, I would suggest bringing your stroller. This is the first year that I will not be bringing a stroller for our dd, she was 7 in Sept and I know that she hates the fact that she is going to have to walk this year. She is small, so I've gotten away with a good lightweight stroller up to this point, she is 42# and 47" tall with her sneakers on. Your little one will probably fall asleep in her stroller if she is tired.

Enjoy, it sounds like you will have a great time!

Hi thanks for the advice about the airport! My dh suggested we leave by 2 also. That is such a drag having to be at the airport so long! oh well! I'am bringing a stroller for my little one but I think she has the most energy of all of us. We went to the zoo last year at this time before she was even 2 and she walked the whole time!

The only thing I might suggest is moving your visit to AK to a morning instead of a late afternoon. We have found it's easiest to do the safari first thing in the morning when the park opens. We'll usually get our fast pass for it, then head to Tusker House for breakfast. :p They have the most delicious hot cinnamon rolls and breakfast sandwiches. :) After the safari we usually hit Dinoland before it gets busy.... then hit some shows, have lunch, and leave.

Another tip, if you make a PS for breakfast at Donald's Breakfastasaurus you can get into the park early. :)

Hey Tassie....we're going to be down there at the same time - April 1-4, staying a CBR, so I'll be watching this thread for the next couple of weeks.

I, too, would suggest AK in the morning and be done with it by mid day. That seems to be what most people suggest on this board. Plus, the safari first thing in the morning is when the animals are most active, so you'll see more.

One other thing....from what I've read on this board, I think Spectromagic is only on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and your itinerary said you were going to see it on Sunday. You may want to double check this.

Two years ago we went down for a short visit after visiting my parents in S. Florida, so we only went to MK and MGM. This time we're staying for four nights but weren't going to do a park on the first day, and enjoy the resort. Then only do the two parks we didn't do last time. But after thinking about it, I couldn't go to WDW and not go to the Magic Kingdom!! So, I'm still trying to figure out which day to do what.

We plan on one full day in Epcot, 1/2 day in AK, then maybe back to hotel, then to MK in evening. Then another day split between MK and MGM. The three days we're going to do the parks are Friday - Sunday. We're taking our DS out of school before his spring break a couple of days early hoping to beat the Easter week rush. Then we're off to US/IOA for two nights staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, with the wonderful "front of the line" access.

Have a great time on your trip and maybe we'll see you there.
