Does anybody want to help me plan fastpasses?

My Fastpass booking window opens tomorrow. This is our first time at Disney, so I don't know how long it takes to get from rides to restaurants and feel unsure regarding Fastpasses. I know many of you love to plan...so I could use your help. My kids are 9, 6, 3 and 1; my husband and I tend to get motion sick so we're not going for any of the big rides. Thanks for your help!

Sunday...we should arrive by noon and plan to hit the Magic Kingdom. We have a reservation for CRT at 6:55.

Monday...Animal Kingdom. Reservation for O'hana at 5:10.

Tuesday...Magic Kingdom. Reservation for Chef Mickey at 12:40. I also have Park Fare booked for 6:25 but will only keep one...which do you most recommend?

Wednesday...Magic Kingdom. Reservation for Be Our Guest at 10:50 am.

Thursday...Epcot. Reservation for Akershus at 10:30.

Friday...HS. Reservation for Mama Melrose at 11:30.

You should take a look at Post #2 from this thread and go from there: http://www.disboards.com/threads/fa...ed-priorities-and-strategies-part-ii.3326057/

Since we don't know what attractions interest you and your family, it will be tough to give you recommendations. If you look at that thread, you can see attractions listed in order of FP priority and then decide which ones you all want to experience.

Also I believe you mean Hollywood Studios on Friday and not Universal.

As for which meal recommendation for Tuesday- it seems you have a lot of young kids so they may enjoy the characters at Chef Mickey's more.

It would be ki d of hard to plan someone else's FPs since only you know what your priorities are for park touring etc. I would recommend that you make a list of the attractions you want to see at each park.

We also make up a touring plan- a relaxed itinerary that gives us a guide to which attraction should come next. We used to use Touringplans.com for this, but now use the cheat sheets from easywdw.com ( we find they have a less regimented approach to touring).

Lastly we use either Mesaboy's FP thread ( here's a link :http://www.disboards.com/threads/fa...ed-priorities-and-strategies-part-ii.3326057/ ) or easywdws suggestions, to prioritize our FPs, based on our touring plan for that day.

I think you need to first decide when you want to get to the parks on days you have that option, and what attractions you do want to see. Your first day seems like you won't be in the MK till afternoon sometime. So maybe shoot for FP+ times in the 2-6 pm range, so you are all done by the time of your dinner reservation, and maybe will be able to make an additional fp+ for after dinner.

Other days, do you plan on being in the park at opening, or going later? If at opening you could try to visit a few things early before the crowds and then make fp+ for say 11,12,1 (working around and adjusting for any dining reservations). If you are going first to your morning dining reservations, then make the fp+ for afterwards. I am a little confused by Friday. Are you going to Universal Studios that day, but also have a lunch reservation at Mama Melrose?

I guess with some young ones, you need to determine how long you can stay in the parks each day too. Will you be taking breaks each day and going back, or going for a certain number of hours and then calling it a day? Such decisions can affect the way to go with fp+ times too.

A little more info might be helpful. Do you have princess-loving girls? Pirate-loving boys? A mixture of both? Are you planning to do rope drops? Are you done for the day after your evening ADRs? The links to mesaboy's thread would be a great place to start.

If you're not riding any of the big attractions, there's no need to jump on your FP bookings right at the 60-day mark. If you want to give me a list of "must-dos" for your family, I don't mind planning your itineraries for you, but I doubt I'd have it done by tomorrow though!

Thank you for the replies. Yes, I did mean HS not Universal. All 4 are girly girls, and we plan to make rope drop every day.

If all 4 are girly girls, then maybe 1900 Park Fare since it's Cinderella themed. But you know them best!
