Does anybody want my Oscar?

I'm not sure if this is an illegal post, if it is, I'm sorry!


We have a 12 inch oscar fish who is beautiful and we're having trouble finding a good home for her. She'd NEVER survive the move to Florida.

Does anybody in New England want her, or have any suggestions on what to do with her? She needs at least a 75 gallon fish tank

We have tried several local pet stores, and none of them have a tank big enough. Does anybody know anyone, or know of any New England pet stores that have big show tanks?

Have you tried making fliers and posting at local vets.

Or perhaps one of the vets will take the fish.

Sometimes doctors and dentists have fish tanks.

he knows someone that would want it....also we had a chinese restaurant in Maine that had a huge tank the whole length of the dining area.....maybe a call to them too.....ask at the pet shops too...they may know of someone

almost forgot.....my son had one that was sooooo big...when he did die ....people said he was big enough to filet....(we are maine fisherman....can you tell)

Do you have a Kelly's Roast Beef nearby? I know the one in Saugus has huge tanks with huge fish, maybe they would be interested.

Do you have any actual *fish* stores nearby instead of just plain pet stores? Some of them might either be able to take him, or know someone who could.

Almost every pediatricians office I have gone to have had a fish tank..

How about one of those fish tank cleaning services? They probably know all the big tanks in your area.

Did you ever see the movie "Duece Bigelow, Male Gigelow"? A reall funny movie about fish, in a way.

Late last night we found a pet store who will display her and try to give her away for us. The only problem is it is a 40gal tank and she'd be so smushed!

No Kelly's roast beef around. Most of the restaurants around here with big tanks are saltwater.

The Eyedoctor's tank is saltwater.... oh well!

I like the fish-cleaning services idea, too. We'll look into that!

We're also going to make fliers today!
