OK fess up - do you snoop to see what your spouse or SO is getting you?

I must say this time of year I feel about 5 years old. My curiousity can get the better of me. I have resisted snooping but it is getting harder and harder. And I will be home alone tomorrow morning.

No temptation here... since I bought most of the things for me from him. At least I know I'll like it and that it will fit.

He picked my new van, though. I haven't see it yet, even though I've seen Town & Country vans before. That'll be my one surprise... will it have a sun roof? Will it have cloth or leather seats? Will there be a thermometer reading inside for the outside? We shall soon see....

I can't tell you that!!!!!!!!

::yes::

I have to admit, Ihave been known to peek!

I also shake boxes!

I'm horrible at faking a surprised expression, so I NEVER peek. That would spoil all the fun of Christmas morning!

I don't peek, but DH doesn't believe me. The other night he got me some stocking stuffers and after he put them in the stocking, he balled up the bag and shoved it on top so I wouldn't look.

Course this is the same man who has also put cryptic messages on all my presents. He says he can't remember why he did some, but they should all make sense when I open them.

I don't, but in my boyfriends house it's practically an art form! I'm serious, rulers, x-acto knives....it's crazy! He held up my present yesterday in front of my house and was like "take a peek!".

I would NEVER do that, I love surprises way too much! Him and his sister peek for each other to prepare themselves if they got something they don't like (to fake enthusiasm).

:D I don't peek but my dh has a BAD habit of showing me everything he bought the minute he gets it!! I tell him that I would really like to keep things a surprise but he always wants to know if I like things right away. This weekend he showed me two things he picked up: 1.) Disney Walkie-talkies for our next trip 2.) the Snow White Christmas cottage. I would have been so surprised and happy to get those as surprises. Of course, I love getting them anyway, but I wish he could keep things a secret :teeth: .

i'm a peeker!!! shhh.....i'm a shaker too...just can't help it..

I am still trying not to peek but just saw a box go into the attic - he thought I was asleep.

Just keep chanting - no peeking no peeking no peeking!

I did once - when I was a child.. Carefully unwrapped and then rewrapped everything and it was the WORST Christmas of my life... :( No element of surprise at all.. After that experience I never did it again..

However, my grown DD is terrible about peeking! Her DH has to either shop on Christmas Eve - or lock her gifts in his Classic Camaro (which she doesn't have keys to)...

I don't peek but I do shake....

My DW can't because everything is wrapped and since I have a unique style of wrapping.(half roll of tape per package) there's no way..
