find it strange that they don't have a Sleeping Beauty ride? Cinderella ride? An actual Toy Story ride with Woody and Jessie and Bullseye? Pocahauntus ride? Lion King ride? ... I mean think of what they coould do with some of the movies they havent turned into rides yet. Toy Story could be an amazing dark ride. You could ride in remote control cars and enter into Andys house. You could be "toy size" and go up the staiors and explore his house. then on your way under the bed you meet up with Zurg who is trying to sabotage Andys birthday party. Then you do some spinning into the next scene and youve beat Zurg and your at Andys birthday party. :confused3 I was listening to a Disney cd and heard "Youve got a friend in me" and my mom and I started coming up with ideas for new rides. I like Buzz lightyear space ranger spin but what about a new addition?
Does anybody else have any ride ideas that disney never made?

As for Sleeping Beauty, she has a castle at Disneyland, and Cinderella has the WDW castle. The Lion King has a show at AK, as does Pocahontas.
I do think we might see some more Pixar related attractions and I think your Toy Story idea is cool. As John Lasseter becomes more involved, look for some totally new innovations in theme park attractions. :earsboy:

oh yeah thats right. i forgot about the Lion King show at AK  also i thought they closed Pocahauntus...hmmm maybe im wrong. last time we did AK we parked hopped and only went for EE, tough to be a bug and food. :rotfl2:

that toy story ride of yours sounds very cool. I could picture what it would be like as I read it.
I think it would be cool if they had a ride dedicated to the disney princesses. I haven't thought of what it should be like, but it should include some of the favorites like Belle, Jasmine, and Ariel...etc.. princess:

Anything with the Princesses is sure to be a hit.

i realized while watching tarzan yesterday that (early on) when he is carrying Jane away from the baboons(sp?) it seemed like a ride much the way aladdin's flying carpet did, which was roughly translated into a DQ "ride." i mean, tarzan wasn't that important in the disney view it seems, but it could be translated into a ride pretty easily it seems.

I'm very surprised they haven't done more dark rides from their classics. I would love to see a state of the art Sleeping Beauty ride. Think of what they could do with a large dragon and a color changing effect on her dress.

They do have a Cinderella ride. Cinderella's Golden Carousel ride is in Fantasyland. They also have a ride based on a Toy Story Character, Buzzlightyear in Tomorrowland.

I've always thought the door scenes in Monster's Inc would make an amazing inverted roller coaster. Remember where they're jumping around from door to door on the conveyer belt? Imagine two or three tracks, twisting, turning, and you never know which way your 'door' will go... oooh! :goodvibes

i thought so too!

I think that Disney really missed the boat with turning movies into rides the last 5 or so years. Look at Disneys most successful movie run, The Little mermaid, beauty and the beast, Aladdin and lion king. What do the parks have to show for it? NOTHING, but a few shows, character meets, and the magic carpets don’t count. With just those 4 movies they have a ton of great things they could do. Maybe Disney feels that they cant do a ride for something that’s more than 5 years past. Who knows, I just think they need to wake up. I think they need to put a dark ride in the 20K spot. How about a little mermaid dark water ride. I guess we can hope.

Doesn't Disneyland have a new Monsters Inc attraction? I was hoping they would be bringing it to Magic Kingdom. I thought I read something about that on this board. Perhaps I am getting my stories messes up.

Voyage of the Little Mermaid is a pretty cool show that's been around a long time. :)

I agree though - more dark rides!!!! I swear, we talk until we're blue in the face about Disney adding more dark rides and I pray they're watching us sometimes. :teeth:
