Does any other company offer free child's AP with adults? REALLY disappointed with CE

Hi

Does anyone know please? I am so disappointed with CEM and their lack of response to my problem with them.

DH bank says the money is set aside after my transaction on Tues but the company have not applied for the money. CEM have said nothing other than "we will check with our bank tomorrow" since Tuesday night.

I have emailed them twice today again and called and left a message but have had no response. I don't know what else I can do.

I know many people here have used the successfully so I had no concerns using them. It's really taking away from the excitement of planning this trip :(

Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated.
 
Banking in France is very slow and follows strict procedure, you can't speed things up like people seem to do with their UK banks

You could always try Promoparcs but I'm a CEM fan myself and find that Alice Dias is really helpful :confused3

When are you wanting the tickets by and what part of the transaction has gone through so far ?
 
Thanks for that information Carrie, it's really useful to know. I assumed it would pretty much be an instant transaction as the payment for the ¬20 fee went through immediately.

It's Alice who I have been emailing but I heard nothing from her all day yesterday until later on at night when she repeated what she'd said the previous night about checking with the bank the following day. I've heard nothing again today. I am checking my emails every 5 minutes to see if there is anything!

If I'd received an email just confirming they were checking or hadn't forgotten or just an acknowledgement to my emails then I'd feel a bit more comfortable. I appreciate that the sale of 2 Disney APs isn't a big deal to them but its a lot of money and stress to me!

We are going in April. I received an order summary page with a transaction number but didn't receive an order confirmation email. Alice previously said that she can see my transaction but hadn't received a "ticket" from their bank. She said she would check and let me know but that's all I've heard.

Eta: I see Promo Parcs have an offer on for Fantasy passes at 125¬. I had planned to get Dream ones but our dates are ok so I might go with them if I don't hear from CEM shortly. Am I right in thinking that we would still get EMHs with Fantasy passes?
 
If there's a hic with the 2nd transaction ,which there could be as it might have flagged as fraud seeing it followed a small transaction which are seen often as "tests", the banks will be treating "manually" and it could take a few days

You get EMH with both Dream and Fantasy AP's now. The only thing to watch out for with a Fantasy is the blackout dates if you aren't staying on site.

Alice owns the company so I imagine that she does her paperwork at night while being out a lot of the date with clients. See if you receive anything from them tomorrow am and then decide what you feel best doing.

Don't get yourself worked up though over it as it will be fine (worst case scenario they refund you and you buy elsewhere) and you are going to have a great time in April :goodvibes

I think I will give it until tomorrow and see what happens or if I hear back from Alice again.

As Carrie said banking in France is still in the stone age :confused3 it can take up to a week for a payment to be transfered between accounts and for transactions to come off your debt or credit card.

The French banking system is not as fast as it is in the UK. Here you can pay your bill in a resturant with a debit card and then go on line on your phone to check the balance of your account and see the payment has already left your account even before you have left the resturant.

In France it takes a little longer, up to a week some times. After a recent trip to Paris I was still seeing resturant bills coming out of my bank acount up to two weeks later.

What a difference a few hours makes! Alice has confirmed that the money has been processed :cool1: I'm very relieved!

She didn't ask for names for the passes, I'm sure I've read that people have had to give their children's names & maybe dates of birth, or have I dreamt that?!

I've sent her the details anyway, got a feeling she'll be glad to see the back of me :rolleyes1

You will need to show your childrens passports at the AP office in DLP though :goodvibes
