I booked DD and DGS November flights last week at $114 each for Pittsburgh to Orlando. Today, that same flight is $80:sad1:. Does Airtran give credit like Southwest does? I haven't booked her return trip yet, waiting for a better price, and I could use a credit on that return trip.......I guess that is probably just wishful thinking.

You need to call and I think you need to have a member number which you can get very easily. Now they wont credit your credit card but they will add teh credit to your reservation and you can use it towards booking your return flight.

I hope everything works out.

Have a great trip

Yes, they definitely do. I had also just booked flights to and from Minneapolis in November. They were $74 each way and dropped to $40 each way today! I called and got $34 credit for each one way ticket. How great is that? I really hate Airtrain being bought by Southwest.

I don't know if it depends on the flights or what, but I was informed by AirTran that they will only issue a credit if your price drops at least $75 or more than what you paid due to the change fee. The policy is somewhat outlined here: http://www.airtran.com/faq/q/i_have...ecials+and+Sale+Fares&rt=index_faqs&nav_id=85
