We are taking my husband's parents, siblings/spouses and their kids with us to Disney next year in early December to stay at BWV with us. I'm trying to decide if the Grand Villa is the way to go or if we should get two villas- a one bedroom and a two bedroom. Both combinations add up to sleeping 12, but I'm still undecided.

Those going include:
Husband's parents
My husband and me
One brother and his wife
One sister and her husband
One sister, her husband, and their two kids (girl age 12 1/2 and boy age 10)

Do people really put this many in a Grand Villa?

Keep in mind you have 1 king bed, 4 queens and 1 queen sleeper sofa. You have 5 couples and only 3 bedrooms. Sounds way too crowded. I think a 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom would be worse, you still ony have 3 bedrooms but then 2 couples would be on sleeper sofas (2 kings, 1 queen, 2 queen sleepers, 1 double sleeper).

I agree, that's too crowded. Perhaps you can rent 4 studios instead, or 3 studios and a one bedroom. The hallway right off the lobby is all studios, I think, so you could all be near each other, although a grande villa would surely give you all a sense of togetherness.

I think I would want each couple to have their own bedroom. What about a 2 bedroom and 3 studios? That way you have a good size gathering place, and everyone gets their own room.

How many nights would be a good question to ask?

Hmmmmm with this config, you might put the kids on the LR sofa (which makes it hard for the adults to stay up later as a group), you and DH in the Master and two couples in each of the two bedrooms. It could work fine, depending on how long you will be there. I say the kids on the sofa as you have so many adults and surely you would want them on the comfier beds.

But I think I would go with a 2 br (DH, me, sis, DH and 2 kids) and three studios - unless one of the other couples wanted to sleep on the 2br LR sleep sofa, then you could do the 2 studios.

The one BR and two Br puts three sets of people on a sleep sofa. If you are stayng several days, that may not be too good as the sofas aren't long enought to sleep an adult properly. Feet hang over the bottom!
