Just wondering if a 2 year old (who will not be ordering food or drink) would be counted to make us a party of 6 which would require the 20% tip?

By knowing in advance, you are more likely to avoid tipping 36%Wouldn't you most likely tip at least 18% anyway?
The auto gratuity will be printed on the receipt.By knowing in advance, you are more likely to avoid tipping 36%

this - especially given that 18% of $0 is $0. So it doesn't really add anything to the bill.Wouldn't you most likely tip at least 18% anyway?

Just know that if you are 2 separate parties even if you have the exact same reservation time you might not be able to sit together or at nearby tables. Disney will try to accommodate you but if it isn't one reservation you could be seated far from one another (or in different rooms) at larger restaurants. Thanks for all the replies. I was thinking she would be counted even though she won't be eating. We'll be splitting our reservations into 2 parties so that we can tip based on service. Thanks!

It is likely that they will not sit you together b/c you are different parties...and if they do put you together b/c you ask to combine at the restaurant, they will put on the auto-tip. If you don't want to pay the auto-tip, you should probably avoid restaurants where you would feel uncomfortable paying that tip.
