Just got all my new membership documents. Holy pile of signing. Do I need to do all the signatures in front of a notary or just the last page? I'm trying not to screw all this up.

Talk about overwhelming too. I haven't signed so much stuff since I got my mortgage.

The one I liked what the SSR Spa Rider that basically says the spa isn't guarenteed to be there forever.

We just bought in July and the only paper that we had to sign in front of a notary was the Short Form Mortgage Agreement. We had signed everything else and then couldn't get to the notary that same day. I called our guide and told her the dates would not match and she said as long as the SFMA was signed and dated in front of the notary it would be ok.
Congratulations and Welcome Home!

Thanks, thats what I thought. My wife and I are going to do all the signing on Friday.

I do like all the Mickey's and Palm Trees in the process. I'm quite happy with the way the whole process has gone so far. It was earlier then I expected but hey.

My other question is, I'd obviously like to pay ahead on the loan, but I notice its a direct withdrawal for the payments. Is there an easy way to pay ahead on my balance as well?

Its great to be a Member. I've been a CM for 3 1/2 years and I figured it was about time I joined. The cast discounts are great. I know I'll be adding on a good number of points in a few years (When the kids start). I actually plan on using most of my points initially through the member exchange and then cleaning up the account at Disney on the weekends/weeknights here and there.

My trips for next year are all sealed up with the Panama canal cruise and my first points are June 2005, so I figured July of 2006 I might take a big trip to start with the '05 + '06 points.

Hi Jeff & Jen!

I just about freaked when I started seeing all the Mickey's and palm trees also when my package arrived yesterday. I don't think I signed and dated this much when I bought my first house! The blue backpack in kinda nice. I did however, get my SSR pin when I took a tour last Saturday.

I asked Susan the exact same question regarding additional payments on the Magic last week. You can make additional payments toward the principle by mail. I just need to find out what the address is.

It is just the Short Form Mortgage Agreement that needs a notary seal.

Kathy
