Booked my holiday way back last year for this coming May. Received my invoice and confirmation via e-mail - added Dining Plan at a later date plus ME but did not receive an updated invoice via e-mail nor through the post. I paid my balance at the beginning of last month but still haven't received confirmation either way from Disney. Is this normal?

Also when should I expect to receive my final documents (including Magical Express tickets)? - we have just over 5 weeks to go I booked my flights separately.
 
UK guests dont get ME tickets anymore - you can still book and use the service but if you want to have your cases collected you need to hand your flight ticket stubs (the ones with your luggage reference numbers on) too the cm at the ME desk and some will retrieve them and send them on their way.

Not sure about the other documents - when I upgraded I didnt get a new email or invoice (but was told I would) but when I logged into www.disney.co.uk the changes showed up.
 
Ring the 0870 24 24 900 number and when you get the USA CM ask to be put through to Open Ride and why you need to talk to them and insist they send you the invoice you need. The USA staff can't do this it has to be someone from Open Ride. You should get an invoice from them hopefully in less than two weeks but it's Easter coming up so allow a couple of extra days for the post to catch up after the holidays.We don't get the ME luggage tags any more but they can add it to your booking and there will be buses waiting at the airport to get you to the hotel but ME is on the opposite side of the terminal to VA/VH baggage claim so you'll need to cross over on (I think) level 3. Take your cases to the bus and they will stow them beneath and you get them out when you reach your hotel.

I am glad I checked - I have looked at my booking online and although it shows I have fully paid and my DDP has been added, there is no mention of Magical Express being added - would it show on the invoice?

I doubt whether I'll get to ring them over the next couple of days so I have e-mailed for now to raise the questions, telling them I want an invoice and ME tickets - so I'll see how it goes.

Is it me or are the admin staff at Disney a bit poor? We had major issues just booking our ADR's this year - some meals had been booked for three and some for four - which would have caused problems seeing as we booked some with a credit card hold (there are only 3 of us - hopefully everything been amended now.)

I was intending to collect my own luggage at MCO because last time we came in on an evening flight, we sat up in our room waiting for our luggage when we really wanted to go to bed.

ME doesnt show on your invoice - when you got your first confirmation email you should have a link on the email to book ME - once booked online you get sent a confirmation email with a reference number - thats all you need, especially if your planning on collecting your own luggage.

Disney do not operate the ME Mears do so the disney call centre have to transfer you when you phone up.
 
We go on 28th April and got ours last friday so 3.5 weeks out.

There was also a ME voucher included in all the stuff to present when you get to Orlando.

I did see the link to book ME online but the link wasn't working at the time so I rang them and they said they will add it to the booking - I did not get a separate reference number. Might still be worth ringing them to double check this.

I did - we booked our hotel, tickets and DDP with Disney uk online (but then amended it over the phone) and have flights with VA
