I’m not sure if this is a theory of if everyone’s realised this, but:
In Day of the Moon, the Doctor says “As long as there’s been something in the corner of your eye, or creaking in your house or breathing under your bed or voices through a wall” about the Silence. In The Eleventh Hour, Amy has to look at the corner of her eye to see stuff, you see stuff (presumably Prisoner Zero but who knows?) lurking about her house and well there’s the voices through the wall with the whole crack thing as well.
Coincidence? Could the Silence have been in Amy’s house when she was little but she didn’t realise because she forgot as soon as she saw them maybe?

It appears I'm the only person who didn't find it scary haha.

according to people i follow on tumblr, quite a few of them didn't find it scary.

i just really have a thing with dolls coming to life and children singing. especially nursery rhymes.

Overall, I thought it was really creepy. But I think the creepiest part was Amy turning into a doll. Just imagine your boyfriend/girlfriend turning into a doll giggling like a little child trying to kill you. Now that is what I call High Octane Nightmare Fuel.

I was expecting the last episode to be scarier. Those dolls were creepy, but in the episode, they weren't much of a threat... You know, a killing threat.

Why have they switched from Rory dying all the time to the Doctor dying all the time now? Why does anyone have to die? D:

I heard that Rory will have another near-death experience in this episode as well... Well, it never said his name specifically. Maybe it meant the Doctor...

I have just begun to watch Doctor Who. I'm starting with season 5, episode 1, with Matt Smith. Is this a good place to start? I already love the show, and after reading a brief article on Doctor Who I learned who the 10th Doctor Was, and I now find David Tenner absolutly adorable.

Yeah that's good place! My favorite is still David Tennant, but Matt Smith is awesome too. He is adorable I love the ending to his last series but you kinda need to follow his three series to understand the enormity of it...anyway, yeah series 5 is a good place to start haha

I started in the middle of the first half of the new series, which was honestly a bad idea. Luckily, they were showing the episodes before Matt Smith's tenure everyday on BBC America. So I recorded them and watched them all and now I understand everything that's going on. But if you want to start there, go ahead. But if you want to understand everything else that's going on, try seeing what episodes are on BBC America. It usually comes on at 5 everyday. I'd say this is a good place so you can catch up quick enough to the new episodes being released now. That being said, when you do have time, you should go back and watch the older series as well - Christopher's was good but if you can only choose one I'd watch David's series (2-4 plus his "specials"). They are all fantastic and absolutely brilliant

David's tenure was my favorite. Christopher Eccelston should've stayed for at least 1 more season. He was a good Doctor, and a little underrated. But hopefully they come back for the 50th anniversary.
