Doctor Who

I loved Let's Kill Hitler!! All of it was great. Some of my favorite parts were:

River holding everyone hostage in the ballroom. :P
Mels turning out to be a younger incarnation of River
Rory punching out Hitler (Seriously, who didn't love that?) and later on locking him in a cupboard.
River giving her remaning regenerations to The Doctor.

This is how I felt. I understand the whole awesome human aspect and I agree wholeheatedly! I brought it up because some girls were like "OMG HIS SHIRT WAS OFF"

And I was so confused.

ANYWAY I'm about halfway through Let's Kill Hitler.

Mind blown already
Ah yes, that is because Arthur Darvill is attractive.

Now that I actually have time to post, reactions to Let's Kill Hitler:

Honestly I didn't really know what to think at the beginning - the start really didn't excite me that much. But then when Mel regenerated, I really started to love it (and have a huge realization moment on what was happening just as it started). Other favorites were, of course, Rory punching out Hitler and telling him to shut up/shoving him in the closet (anyone else realize afterward that they never got him out? haha) and also the whole transition River went through from murderer to "River". So precious!!!

And last random thing, but I got super excited (as wrong as this might sound) when the Doctor was dying because he called River over to tell her the secret...I'm guessing his name? which I really loved because of the connection to the Library episodes which were some of my favorites

 Ok, ok.

It was sooo good. I didn't want it to end! I was worried at first that by introducing Mel, they were trying to introduce a new companion for other episodes, but I was SO excited when I realized it was River

Oh I just love Doctor Who! It is such a great show! Although it usually takes a couple minutes after something happens and then im like, "Oh! I get it now!!" haha:)

When I actually figure something out (and if by some miracle it's before the Doctor does) I get SOOOO excited and proud of myself :lmao:

Now the question is how are they going to get around the Matt Smith Doctor dying and the series ending if that is supposed to be his last regeneration?

And what happened to his daughter from the episode "The Doctor's Daughter"?

I like the way they have thought the plots out and carried the storylines through a season so the episodes don't just happen as isolated events without impacting on each other. Kind of reminds me of Babylon 5.

I have a feeling she is gonna eventually make a reappearance in the series. And as for that first part, Moffat is sure to figure out a way around that. After all, he keeps figuring out how to bring back Rory after he dies, so I'm sure he'll come up with something

Well they're gonna get around him dying because he's contracted for series 7. As for the regenerations, I saw a theory saying he'd be able to use River's unused regnerations since she brought him back to life with them.

Really, if Matt Smith kept playing the part they could keep the series going for years until they close the loop with the Doctor dying on the beach.

Interesting they brought up the Doctor being viewed across the universe and time as a negative force as a result of his trying to help others. A precurser to that was his image being that of the Evil One in The Face of Evil (Season 14). (That's the one where he picks up the companion that Amy Pond asks about wearing the leather bikini)

Now, where is that life I'm supposed to have? Really must get one one of these days.

I want Matt Smith to stay as the Doctor for as long as possible, he's my favourite. :')

And I hated that in A Good Man Goes To War when they were all shouting at him when he didn't even do anything, he saved Amy and tried his best to get Melody..

I still think Peter Davidson was the best, although David Tennant is a close second. Christopher Eccleston's portrayal was very much like Jon Pertwee in some ways I thought.

I think David Tennant is still my favorite. Even though I started watching when Christopher Eccleston was the Doctor, I never felt a connection to his portrayal. Tennan't Doctor drew me in. I liked how he could be calm at one moment, then could completely flip out, and still have it be believable.

I like Matt Smith's portayal of the Doctor's eccentricities; it's almost as if the Doctor had been waiting to be this strange, and he's not holding back. I like the humor he brings to the characters, but his Doctor also has an anger that's never been shown before.

Also, Smith's Doctor showed a desperation while being strapped inside the Pandorica that hadn't been shown on Tennant's Doctor except for when he was about to regenerate ("I don't want to").. ANYWAY what I'm trying to say is, I like Tennant's Doctor overall the most. :goodvibes

Tennant is a good actor, I didn't even recognize him in Harry Potter & GOF until I saw it on DVD.

Haven't seen it, have to wait until I get home and watch it on the TIVO.

But I did annoy DW by sitting around and watching 4 episodes of TORCHWOOD: MIRACLE DAY on On-Demand when I was home Thurs and Fri.

What's doctor who????????????????????????????????????????

So far, my favorite doctors would have to be:

1st Doctor (William Hartnell)
2nd Doctor (Patrick Troughton)
4th Doctor (Tom Baker)
5th Doctor (Peter Davison)
7th Doctor (Sylvester McCoy)
8th Doctor (Paul McGann)
9th Doctor (Christopher Eccelston)
10th Doctor (David Tennant)
11th Doctor (Matt Smith, my first doctor.)

In terms of companions, I'd have to go for Rose, Donna, Amy and Rory.
