Doctor Who

Not sure if this will be of interest to any Who fans :):

The circular room where a lot of the action in last night's episode took place was filmed in what was, until fairly recently, the reference section of Swansea Central Library. The building was declared unfit for public use and uneconomical to refurbish as a library, but it's now been taken over by the art department of Swansea Metropolitan University, and we have a brand new Central Library that's been built about half a mile away.

I worked for Swansea Libraries for 14 years (although I was never based at Central, I did a couple of relief shifts there over the years) and youngest DD has just completed her Art Foundation course in the building attached to the old library. So last night's episode was of particular interest to me! :hippie:

It was great, I look forward to the next part ::yes::

Thanks for the info Hilary, it's always good to find out where the programmes were made :thumbsup2

Thanks for the location info Hillary.

Loved this episode was really compelling and can't wait for next week's one now.

Yep, I enjoyed this week's episode too, though I am scared of having to get up in the night now when it is dark! I still haven't recovered from the Torchwood night entertainers episode either! :rotfl2: Looking forward to part 2 - where the heck did Donna go?

Hello all, sorry didn't post but have watched the last two episodes the were really good, and I enjoyed the suspense.

Very well written for our new chief in charge of Doctor Who, and lots of questions raised from it.

David Tennant was on Andrew Marr this morning ,and confirmed after the next 2009 For specials he hasn't been asked as yet to continue with DW?

From next Saturday I think we see a run of episodes all linked up to the ending,

Thank you for keeping thread going in my absence.

so sorryto post again but was just so impressed by the last episode. The bit with Donna and her new family Reminded me of an epidsoe of star trekt TNG when Captain Pickard found a new family. Again it was a fantastic episode and confirmed to me that both Dr Who and ST TNG are awesome

I am just so impressed with this series. I cannot believe how good these episodes have been written but more than this how good Tennant and Tate are.

Cannot say how good this is without tears

I really enjoyed the last two episodes. It was so sad when Donna's "husband" tried to call out to her at the end. :sad1:

I'd love to know what the Doctor's name is!! ;)

am i the only person who is completely confused by yesterdays episode!???lol

I enjoyed this week's episode again, but can't say that I understood it all either!! I thought the idea that all the people had been saved as though they were files was so clever, I was so impressed with that.

I thought the unseen monsters were excellently creepy and another example of Stephen Moffat terrifying us with ordinary things.

Sorry I haven't been here guys; my laptop decided it needed to be repaired while they were on. :furious: :faint: :rotfl: But I'm back now.

The Library episode was kinda interesting. I managed to figure most of what was going on out (well, apart from River Song if that IS her real name! :rotfl: ). I think they maybe setting up for something happens to Donna as aposed for the Doctor, which is great since we don't want him regenerating now do we! :teeth: Of course though... time is relative ;) :lmao:

I dunno what tonights is about, but i know the episodes I have bad opinions of seem to be the best! :rotfl: Roll on Tonight! :)
