OH, I bet they are already in development ready for the shelves of all toy shops soon, and yes, they look like something from Cbeebies, so place them next to the tellytubbies.

Not like that other toy in development, half man half Dalek.:scared1: Young kids wont like him!

Guess I'd better give this thread a good bumpy wumpy. ;) :lmao:

Last nights was alright. Kinda better than last weeks (well, no cute fat monsters :rotfl: ) because it was a real adventure. And they did emotional bits, but they did it to the right amount; not so much I got bored, not too little to avoid the point. That and, Evil cults, psychic powers, a true Sci Fi tale! :lmao:

Donna appears to be the more 'We have to save them!' kinda assistant. She may not be ABLE to but she'll nag the doctor to death about it anyway. :lmao: Rose had little to no idea what she was doing half the time, but always did her best and cared alot, and Martha HAD some idea of what she was doing because she was a Doctor. Donna appears to be a mix; she has the blind wondering aboutness that Rose had but some maturity that Martha had. But as they say.. A Jack (No pun intended ;)) of all trades masters none. And that's probably what'll happen to poor Donna.. Bring on Rose and Martha is what I say!

My parents kept laughing at jokes that just went over my head. :confused3 Must be why I didn't laugh THAT much. But still, it was OK. Can't wait till the Ood Next week! :)

I really enjoyed last nights one, you could tell it was a different writer to RTD, more suspence, more thoughful drama but still good comedy, the water pistol and the T G MAXimus jokes, loved it, it was up there again with great episodes.

The Overnight Ratings are in for 4.2: The Fires of Pompeii.

Overnight Ratings show that the episode achieved 8.1m viewers with a 36.7% audience share.

Doctor Who was the second most-watched programme on Saturday, being beaten by Britain's Got Talent, which achieved 8.8m viewers.

Oh, I enjoyed last night's so much more than last week's. Almost some hide around the back of the settee stuff. More like that please.

Enjoyed the funnies too.

Still haven't warmed to Catherine Tate though my son and daughter in law think she is fantastic.:confused3

Do you think The Giant Spiders from the Pertwee era are returning?

The soothsayer told Donna "You have something on your back"

Just a thought

Hi Andrew - DD8 has just watched it again on BBC3.

David
:thumbsup2

Interesting observation, haven't herd of that coming, but like it.
I think there is something with void space, as Daleks back for 11/12/13, and Cybermen back at Christmas in Siberia.

OOD this week, and not very good for mankind we are the bad boys!

Then back to present day,Earth following two weeks,

ooh I hope not ! Ihate bees :sad2:

2 Days to Dr Who. And... 2 days till our friends across the pond get to view Who too! Well, albeit, a few weeks behind. :lmao:

Howdy Neighbours.

First, an apology for being so lax in replying to this thread. My excuses (in no particular order) - holiday, too much catching up to do when got back from holiday and spending hours talking about how I am going to be a mummy!

Anywho, (and please don't flame me), I hated the first episode. I just thought it was dreadful and so far out of the realms of possibility - plus, I can't take to Catherine Tate at all. But, I will definitely agree that the adipose were just adorable.

Conversely, I loved this week's episode! I thought it was really old school Doctor Who, even down to the costuming, and those are my favourite sorts of episodes. My only complaint was that the language didn't seem to fit the period.

Leela

Welcome Back Leela. I'm not one to talk either. ;) Good thing the Emporer is going housekeeping now.

I think the language was changed for the youngins and to try and make it easier. But.. i wonder if anyone has found TK Maximus yet? :lmao: ...sorry.. couldn't resist. :teeth:

I found Catherine Tate far less irritating than I expected. I also loved the adipose - if only there was a diet that really worked like that! Let's hope the sky plus box carries on working while we are on holiday!

Thank you for all of your posts, very interesting.

Tonights was high drama (apart from the''Are you calling me a Miss, do I look like a Miss,'' Catherina Tate show).Though provoking , well written drama, with undertones of Holocaust, Slavery, and Humans not coming out well, but rather the oppressors this time.

Nice to find out more about the Ood, and the Doctor to right the wrong of last time when he couldn't help the Ood.

In the end rather than being a monster, you really feel very sorry for them.

More undertones of Rose, and the end coming, more comment about where have the Bees all gone, -they pollinate our crops, so food chain issue, may come out with next weeks more with the poisoned sky.

Unit seem to be in full fighting mode and with Martha helping them, interesting to see, how Martha and Donna-kebab first meet up.

Congrats on your baby coming!

Today's ep looked good. Nice to see the Ood again. But the brain thing.. :scared: At least the ood are free...

The one thing i disliked was the song thing they said. I think they just admitted he's leaving now... Which is a real shame really..... We all love DT and although his replacement will probably be good we have no idea.

Mind you, same thing with Rose eh? :rotfl2: Speaking of that, Martha next week, and look, she's grown up! :lmao:

Good luck with the holiday. :) If the sky box fails, well, you always have youtube. :lmao:
