Doctor Who Season 4!!!

I haven't watched The Doctor in a long time, except to expose my youngest to Tom Baker and the Daleks.

Last night, we caught the premiere 15 minutes in and wow, David Tennant is great! (though I kept seeing Barty Crouch, LOL). I think we'll be watching for more. Both DH and I were bummed that Astrid isn't going to be his familiar.

I don't know if you have a DVR/Tivo but both sci-fi and BBC america will run repeats of the new series...That was the premiere of series 4 that you saw.

It was actually a *weaker* episode..Not bad, just not as good as a lot of them..

You can also netfix them from season one -3

The season 4 pemiere was good. It's not the best episode ever, but still enjoyable. I can't wait to see more of the new season!

The Torchwood Finale... SO SAD! they definitly have us hooked for next season.

I don't watch Dr Who, but i am so dang happy that for once the UK can watch something before you guys!!!

I know that sounds so bad, but i spend a lot of time avoiding the Desperate housewives boards etc cause you are months ahead, for once we are a few weeks infront!!!!

Im not going to be mean and tell you what happens (my friends are really into it and i sometimes watch it cause David Tennant is cute!) cause im nice

DH also likes Tom Baker. My favorite is Peter Davidson followed by David (DT is so comicial that I just love it!).

Speaking of those two, has anyone watched "Time Crash" on YouTube? DH and I loved it! It's a short that starts at the end of Season 3's finale and right before the Titanic ep.

That is made out of awesome..When David says to Peter, "you were my doctor" that's really David talking.

We have been re-watching seasons 1-3 in preparation for the new season.
(we didn't get them all in before hand, but thats ok!)
We watched Human Nature,Family of Blood and Blink on Saturday....
Those are three of the best (and Scariest!) episodes!!

Every season I don't think they can live up to the season before it... And so far I have been wrong every time... Let's hope this season continues the trend!

I have a love/hate relationship with my DVR and with BBC America. Why is it that the box can never manage to record an entire episode of Doctor Who or Torchwood? Argh!!! I caught the Torchwood finale (which was most excellent) and the DVR cut off the last 30 seconds. Fortunately, I was able to record it again later that evening.

And how the heck did I miss the premiere of The Sarah Jane Chronicles??? I guess I should just set my DVR to record BBCA 24/7.

Looking forward to SJC and Season 4 of Doctor Who.

I haven't liked it yet either..I'm keeping with it though because of all of the good things I have heard about the later part of the season.

I'm the same age as DT and I agree with him there. That's who (no pun intended ) we grew up watching.
