Docs question

How soon before a cruise are the documents usually sent? The agency I'm going with says docs will be sent 7 to 10 days before departure. Is that the norm? Is that cutting it close? Do the docs come from DCL or from the travel agency used?

That sounds awfully right...it's usually more like a month ahead. Our docs. for our Sept. 9 cruise just arrived on Friday.

We didn't get our docs until about 10 or 11 days before the cruise. They come from the TA after they get them from DCL. We used DCL air so I think that has something to do with how late we got our docs.

We got our Aug 19th docs last Friday (Aug 6th) 13 days before we leave.

I am going on the Aug 28 MAGIC.. we got our docs in the 3rd week of JULY. We originally booked through DCL and then transfered to AAA....
Some people on my cruise still have not received their docs YET!!!
