Doc said "Don't Run!"

Hello runners. Due to some unpretty health issues going on, my doctor has strongly urged me to not run the Wine and Dine this weekend.
My husband and I already have plans to come with another couple who is running- he has a ticket to the after party. Does anyone know if I am able to pick up my race packet and go directly into Epcot for the festival with the hubs as we wait on our friends who are running? I figure I should make the best of it if I can't run. And I know deferring is not what I want to do.
