Doc; Memories of a buddy, a family member **a few thoughts added, pages 5 & 8**

Oh, Dan - I remember you saying that Doc's days were numbered. But the end must have come as quite a shock for all of you. It amazes me how these furry guys can get into our hearts!

Hang in there.

I was just re-reading this thread and for the first time I just watched the "flash version of the Rainbow Bridge" that is in the original post. Wow... :sad1:

:guilty: I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I am realizing now how hard it is because within a week we noticed something was wrong with my dog, brought him to the vet to be checked, and will be putting him down tomorrow.

I'm so sorry, Dan! Blessings to you and your family. Doc was quite a pup! Hugs to all of you.  :flower3:

Dan I'm so sorry for your loss of your beloved pet Doc....:grouphug:

Awww, Dan, I'm so sorry to hear of Doc's passing. :( :( He must have been a special friend because your memorial to him is very touching. I can see him now, waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. :grouphug:

I'm so sorry Dan.

While we were at Disney, I thought of Doc on more than on occasion and wondered how he was holding up. :guilty:

Take comfort in knowing that he fought the good fight, he was in very capable hands and had such loving and dedicated care givers.

Hugs to you all! :sad1:

 I'm sitting here crying...I am so sorry Dan and Marie for your loss...

Oh no, Dan. :( :( :( :( :(

I'm so sorry. :( Even though I never got to meet Doc, I felt like I knew him from all your beautiful posts about him over the years. My heart goes out to all of you.

Oh Dan, it has been so hard for me to read your thread. I've seen it pop up several times, and I've finally brought myself to open it tonight. We will be putting our Mulligan to rest on Wednesday. While our circumstances are very different from Docs, it still doesn't make it any easier, and the pain is still real and raw and hard. Your first post was the only thing I could get through, and as I sit here in tears, I just want to tell you how sorry I am.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers, because I know how much this hurts. If you could, please do the same for me, and just give us a little virtual hug on Wednesday.

About Doc, he sure was a beautiful Dog.:sad1: :sad1: My 4 year old Lady Bug is still Paralyzed as of a Month ago. We are continuning with the Accupuncture treatments and will be looking into a cart for her to wheel herself around on. We sure do LOVE our Animals, right Dan.:flower3:

Dan,

I'm sorry I didn't see this thread earlier! You were one of the first persons that posted when my sweet cat Annabelle had to be put down a couple of years ago. You have always been a source of comfort on the dis when someone loses a fur baby.

Not many dogs are as lucky as doc to have so many people there to love and help him through his final moments.

Dan so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Doc. My thoughts go out to all of you, pets become so much a part of the family.

Oh Dan.....I am so so very sorry for your loss.
Wishing you and your family peace and comfort as you grieve.

Dan -

Very sorry for your loss. He was a very handsome guy.

Dan, sorry to hear about you and your families loss. Very touching tribute to Doc. I can't stop the tears.
