Haven't been to Epcot in a LONG time, and i know there's lots to see there. It's going to be the focus of our one day at the parks (with f+w fest and lunch at le cellier). I'd like to see as much as possible, but really would like to hit mgm for ToT and RR (only). Do you think it'll take too much time to travel between the two if we only have the one day? I'm worried it would be a lot of wasted time and maybe not worth it. suggestions?

thanks

MGM and Epcot are right next door to each other - literally a 20 minute walk if you walk at my pace, possibly longer if you like to stroll :)

Cab would be a waste of money and if you wanted to take Disney Transport, it would be a pain in the gludius, cause you'd have to transfer. Walking or your own car would be your best bet.

The previous poster is correct, the Epcot International Gateway is about a 20-25 minute walk to the Disney Studios. This exit is located near the United Kingdom and seves the Epcot resorts of Boardwalk, Beach/Yacht clubs, and Swan/Dolphin. At the International Gateway you can also take the Friendship boat over to the Studios. However, the boat stops at the Epcot resorts along the way so it is faster to walk.
When you leave Epcot go left over the first bridge. This will take you to the Boardwalk side. You can continue on this walk all the way to the Studios. There is a short cut by one of the Boardwalk pools that will shorten your walk. Hopefully someone can describe to you how to do this.

Thats awesome info... really good to know. I think we'll try it then. Being avid mountaineers, the walk is no problem (btw, really can't wait for expedition everest to come out!), but shortcut info is always welcome, if anyone could describe. Thanks for everyone's help.

How about a BUMP.......for the short cut info from Boardwalk to the Studios....
