Do yourself a favor and go the Animation Arcade

Have you ever had one of those times a DL that you say to youself, "Wow....I've been here hundreds of times and I never even saw that"? I had one of those moments and thought that it was so cool that I just had to share it.

Over the weekend; DW, DS and I went to DL for the Thanksgiving holidays. While DW was shopping, I took DS over to the Disney Animation Studio to go "Talk to Crush". Usually whenever we go there....we just walk in, talk to Crush and then head out. This time, we decided to walk around and check out the different exhibits they have there. We walked into the Animation Arcade and saw that huge Toy Story display that they have in the middle.

Without giving away too much ( assuming that you have never seen it before ), I was stunned and amazed by what this Toy Story display does. If you have kids ( and haven't seen it before ), take them to go see it. It's one things that you see that makes you say "Wow...that was way cool". Once DS saw it, he didn't want to go. He sat there for 20 minutes watching that thing go around and around.

I'm guessing that it's been around for a while.....I just never went to that part of the Exhibit.

Kids and geeks like me that find animation stuff kind of cool would appreciate it. Trust me....your DS and DD could watch that thing go round and round dozens of times before getting bored of it. I had to tell my DS that we were going to the Buzz Lightyear ride to get him to leave.

Animation was closed the entire week we were there. I'm still over it.

I think I know what you're talking about though. I saw a video of it on youtube. Gotta love that website.

Its a fun place! Did you also go learn to draw a charecter?? I always find it so fun and they change the charecters up too so you learn lots of different ones. I have done Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Jack Skellington, Mickey and I think one other.

Also go down to the Socercer's Studio and learn more about old animation and see which Disney Charecter you are most in Beast's libary.

Whenever I see how many people think this is just a quick sweep for Crush I am always a little disapointed cause this place keeps me busy for hours and the weathers always perfect inside hahaha!

I have never seen this!! We have gone into the Animation building and done everything except Crush. My kids are older, and we did Crush at WDW, so they chose to skip him last trip... but me and DD20 will be there next week, and we will be sure to check this out!!!
