DH and I finally moved furniture into one of our spare rooms at the new house this weekend and I was ready to make the bed with the nice clean sheets I just washed. DH couldn't understand what I was doing as the sheets I was putting on the bed were pink and the only comforter that I had at the moment was green and jewel toned
We never matched our sheets to the comforter set growing up so I have all kinds of cute sheets
DH thinks I'm nuts
We went out and looked at some new sets for the extra bedrooms and bought a few cheap bed-in-a-bag sets to use. I was still going to use the pink comfy sheets with the new gray/black comforter and shams. I don't like those scratchy sheets that come with the sets, I don't want my guests to have to sleep on them either, but DH thinks I should put the matching sheets on 'just because it needs to match'
Thinking about it, the sheets on our bed don't 'match' as in they did not come as a set with our comforter but they do normally coordinate, only because we have king bed and I don't have that many sheets yet
So what do you think? Do your sheets, pillowcases, comforter, shams, and bedskirt all match?
