Do your pets sleep with you (Inspired by the talking to your pets thread)

Our cats sleep with us all of the time, except right now they are locked out of the room for being rowdy, LOL. Misty wraps herself around my head or lies on my chest. Cal will either sleep next to my husband or at our feet. They are good kitties.

My pug, Suzie, sleeps with us every night.

I refuse to let the cat sleep in the bed, but DD does. Cats in the bed creep me out. :crazy2:

Our lab mix tries to sneak in the bed when I'm in there alone. She blows it, though. She'll lie on her side facing me, and then straighten her legs and start to shove me over. :rotfl2: Then I'll wake up and find myself all curled up in an uncomfortable ball and she's got to go! When DH is in bed, she sleeps on the floor because there's no room for two pooh sized people and a dog in a full size bed.

Sorry, but the thought of pet fur in my bed makes me gag *shudder*

The thought of sleeping with animals in the bed truly disgusts me. If I HAD a pet I wouldn't even consider it.

DItto here. I also think it's gross to sit on people's couches and get fur all over you. Ick.

Nope. We sleep upstairs and the puppies sleep downstairs. In fact no doggies allowed upstairs right now. The little sneaks are still too young and want to eat everything.

You want to hear something really gross? Nasty?

It's not the fur you've got to worry about.

It's the dingleberries. :earseek: :scared: :crazy2: :faint:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The cats can nap with me but not at night! They both get really antsy and wake me up way too early. Their favorite trick is to jump on a dresser and start to push things off - my DH says that they are "jerks" and he's probably right.

princess: Princess (Chiuhuhua mix) sleeps in the bed every night! She likes to be right in the middle, more warmth and attention I guess. Sometimes she goes UNDER the covers to sleep (down by my legs) and others she's content on top of the comforter. Whatever makes the little Princess happy.

Nope, the puppy sleeps in our room on the floor. Her favorite place is under the bed although since she's getting bigger--it's getting harder for her to get under there. Luckily, the bed is too high for her to jump on and I'm hoping that by the time she's big enough to get up there, she'll have realized that it's a no-no.

She does hang out on dd's bed with her during the day. DD doesn't want her sleeping in there, though, because the puppy has a tendency to want to go outside in the middle of the night and dd wants no part of that. :teeth:

The two boys, Simba and Paddles, stay outside of the bedroom. They pretty much sleep all day and run around all night. We'd never get any sleep if they came in the bedroom with us. Ally comes in the room with us. She used to come in and hang out before we went to sleep....around 11pm, I'd let her out and DH would let her back in around 4:30 to cuddle. Lately, she's attached to my side. I don't know what's going on, but she's so clingy. I could probably deal with her being at the foot of the bed, but she's under the covers and laying on my hand with her little feet poking at my ribs. Last night, DH picked her up and put her in her bed. She stayed there for a few hours and then came back into bed with me. She completely takes over my side (she can't lay up and down, oh, no, she has to lay sideways) and I end up crunched over on DH's side. He tells me to just move her off the bed, but I don't have the heart. :guilty:

Our cat, Oscar, will sleep with his humans when he is in the mood. Oscar is not our cat, WE are HIS humans.

I have 3 cats. 2 of them usually take turns sleeping in our King bed with us, although sometimes they're both there. The little black one is my favorite, as she is tiny and light. The yellow is a big neutered male, and weighs a ton.

We also have an outdoor cat who only comes in on the very coldest nights; we call them 3 cat nights.

When we had a dog, he could sleep in our room, but not on the bed. He actually prefered sleeping under DD's crib when she was a baby, then in the hallway outside of our bedrooms (at the top of the stairs, which are in a direct line from the front door) when she was older.

We have 2 dogs and a cat. Molly (boston Terrier) prefers to sleep with my DS16. Rocco(Japanese Chin) prefers to come and go. He is more like a cat. He sleeps with me until I fall asleep and then sneaks away. Sometimes he comes back in the middle of the night, sometimes he doesn't. Mittens (cat) sleeps on top of my DH feet (when allowed). She too will come and go.

Lelu sleeps at our feet or under the bed. And the new guy, Maxwell insists on sleeping next to my head or back. He lays there and purrs loudly for hours while needing my back. It drove me crazy at first, but I have somehow gotten use to it, it's like a free back massage. My DH however has not. If Maxwell lays by him, he'll throw him off the bed.

My little Chihuahua Tito Schnuffers Bandito sleeps with us every night. He sleeps under the covers curled up by my tummy. He would be heartbroken if we didn't let him sleep with us. He doesn't like to be alone.

oh yeah - for a smaller dog, Jazz takes up more room then DH and I combined!
yes, the dog hair is kinda nasty...but I used a duvet cover that i can wash weekly...that helps.

She's a great bed warmer! heheh She doesn't stay on the bed ALL night...she'll roam around. but most times, she's on the bed with us.

we made the big mistake of letting her sleep on the bed with us when she was a pup...so it's our own fault.

My dog sleeps in my room, but in his own little bed.

Now I have to go find the talking to your pets thread. ;)

I never know who'll be in the bed with me when I wake up. I have 5 cats and 2 dogs and the only one who never does is my 14 year old dalmatian. He used to when he was younger, but can't get up there anymore. The rest of them pretty much sleep whereever they want so it's not unusual to have 4 or 5 sleeping with me at one time. I don't find it disgusting at all. In fact, its so cozy that sometimes I don't want to get out of bed.

Murphy (Beagle) sleeps smashed in between us every night. He is a pain! Amazing how much room a smaller dog can take up.

Lilly (cat) sleeps with us when it is cold out. She usually curls up next to Murphy or tries to get in between our legs. I can't stand it sometimes between the amount of room they take up and heat they generate.
