Do your pets sleep with you?

I have a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix and a 4 year old cat. As soon as they see me heading towards the bedroom, they run in to make sure I don't forget them. :teeth: Needless to say, both sleep in the bed with me, usually the dog snuggled up beside me and the cat right on top of me.

The funny part is that they start the running to the bedroom business about 8:00, any time I go in there to get something, they run in. I don't usually go to bed till about 12. They REALLY want to make sure they aren't stuck in the other room. :rotfl:

No, but they would love to. They sneak in any chance they get.

No way, no how! I barely let DH in the bed with me. I'm a total bed hog! LOL! Doggie does get to sleep in our room. Kitty just can't stand NOT being on our bed if she's in there and thus, is relegated to staying OUT of the room. When I'm napping I will let kitty in sometimes. Big treat for her!

My cats are welcome to sleep with me if they like. I know they're there when the alarm goes off in the morning and a little paw slaps me. Obviously, Emelia doesn't appreciate being disturbed. :cat:

Yes...Mabel goes "night night" with me every night. The bad thing is....she insists on sleeping above my head on my pillow!!! She used to do that when she was a baby....but as you can see in the pic below....she is just a little bit bigger now!!! ;)
I usually wake up in the middle of the night with her arms totally covering my head!

Hehe... One of the major reasons I now have a king sized mattress is so there is room for me *and* the 5 kitties. Previously when I just had a full size, I was relegated to clinging to the side of the bed as the fur babies continually pushed me out.

Now there is room for all of us :)

Our Sheltie sometimes does, but she has arthritis in her hip and can't get on or off the bed by herself anymore, so we have to lift her onto the bed. If she goes upstairs when we do, she can sleep with us, but usually she sleeps on the floor in the hall. The lab sleeps in a crate in the garage because he snores too loud.

Absolutely not. The Dh bought them a heated and cooled doghouse, they have it better than I do :confused3

On the floor, at the foot of the bed. There just isn't room for that lanky greyhound on the bed with me and DW. She's just fine with that; she has her own comforter and cushion, and greys are very possesive about their beds. We have to being her bed downstairs during the day and back up every night, otherwise she gets anxious.

The cat gets locke dout of the room, because he likes sitting up on our faces while we sleep.

Sometimes I let the wienie dog up in bed with me. :dog: She burroughs to the foot and stays there all night up against my feet or legs. And heaven forbid you move...or you hear this giant sigh coming from a very little dog to let you know you have disturbed the princess from her slumber. :rotfl2:
Our big dog loves to get on the bed but we discovered early on, not only does she shed, but she's a bed hog and she snores. Now she has her own bed in the den. :dog2:

Shadow (huge black lab) normaly will try to sleep in DDs room. Bowman (3yo american eskimo) has a bed on the floor next to where I sleep. Tipsy (evil cat from heck that wants to kill me) sleeps where ever she wants. However, on the occasion that I wake to find her next to me in bed, I am very very quiet getting out of bed (AKA making my escape) :smooth:

The cat sleeps on my bed most of the day. When I go to bed, she'll only put up with so much tossing and turning by me, then she switches to DDs bed :cat:

Like I replied on the other thread....

OF COURSE!!!! :teeth:

They have their own pillow behind mine, so they can sleep in their own little area right by me :) They like to snuggle up next to my head

My black lab sleeps all curled up by my feet every night.

Of course! In fact, I want to buy a king size bed when we move because it's just not that comfy with DH, me, two cats, and occasionally a baby!

Most nights... he normally comes in when I go to bed to snuggle, leaves before I fall asleep, comes back sometime after I've fallen asleep, then leaves before I wake up in the morning. Apparently he thinks he's sneaky, but I usually wake up at some point and find a fat cat on my feet.

Yes they do! both sleep in the bed with us, usually the dogs snuggled up between DH and I and the cat right on top of the covers, and if don't let them in, they'll scratch the door and cry.
